DELIMITATION OF DIVISIONS AND RESERVATION OF SEATS FOR THE SCHEDULED CASTES, SCHEDULED TRIBES AND WOMEN IN THE CITY MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS OF CUDDALORE, KANCHEEPURAM, SIVAKASI, KARUR AND TAMBARAM - POWERS OF THE GOVERNMENT - DELEGATION OF POWERS TO THE COMMISSIONERS OF RESPECTIVE MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS UNDER THE COIMBATORE CITY MUNICIPAL CORPORATION ACT, 1981.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 50-A of the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981 (Tamil Nadu Act 25 of 1981) read with section 8 of the Cuddalore City Municipal Corporation Ordinance, 2021 (Tamil Nadu Ordinance 1 of 2021), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs that the powers exercisable by the Government under sub-sections (4), (5) and (6) of section 5 of the said Tamil Nadu Ordinance 1 of 2021 and section 51 of the said Tamil Nadu Act 25 of 1981, in respect of the Corporation of Cuddalore, be exercisable by the Commissioner, Corporation of Cuddalore.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 50-A of the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981 (Tamil Nadu Act 25 of 1981) read with section 8 of the Kancheepuram City Municipal Corporation Ordinance, 2021 (Tamil Nadu Ordinance 2 of 2021), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs that the powers exercisable by theGovernment under sub-sections (4), (5) and (6) of section 5 of the said Tamil Nadu Ordinance 2 of 2021 and section 51 of the said Tamil Nadu Act 25 of 1981, in respect of the Corporation of Kancheepuram, be exercisable by the Commissioner, Corporation of Kancheepuram. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 50-A of the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981 (Tamil Nadu Act 25 of 1981) read with section 8 of the Sivakasi City Municipal Corporation Ordinance, 2021 (Tamil Nadu Ordinance 3 of 2021), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs that the powers exercisable by the Government under sub-sections (4), (5) and (6) of section 5 of the said Tamil Nadu Ordinance 3 of 2021 and section 51 of the said Tamil Nadu Act 25 of 1981, in respect of the Corporation of Sivakasi, be exercisable by the Commissioner, Corporation of Sivakasi.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 50-A of the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981 (Tamil Nadu Act 25 of 1981) read with section 8 of the Karur City Municipal Corporation Ordinance, 2021 (Tamil Nadu Ordinance 4 of 2021), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs that the powers exercisable by the Government under sub-sections (4), (5) and (6) of section 5 of the said Tamil Nadu Ordinance 4 of 2021 and section 51 of the said Tamil Nadu Act 25 of 1981, in respect of the Corporation of Karur, be exercisable by the Commissioner, Corporation of Karur.
