The Government of Tamil Nadu having been satisfi ed that the lands specifi ed in the schedule below are acquired under Highways Department for the construction of Elevated corridor in Highways at Km.441/0 - 0 -443/2 in Varanasi - Kanniyakumari Road via Periyar Bus Stand to Yanaikkal at Melmadurai Village in Madurai West Taluk, Madurai District and it having already been decided that the entire amount of compensation to be awarded for the lands to be paid out of the funds controlled and managed by the Divisional Engineer (Building & Maintenance), Highways Department, Madurai, Tamil Nadu and afer having considered the cause shown by the owners or other persons having interest in the said lands, as the case may be do hereby published the following notice under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (TN Act 38 of 2019).

NOTICE

Under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002.) the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby notifi ed that the Dry lands specifi ed in the schedule below measuring to an extent 1342.5 of sq.mt of lands in Melmadurai Village in Madurai West Taluk, Madurai District, to be the same, a little more or less needed for the construction of Elevated Corridor in Highways at Km.441/0 - 0 - 443/2 in Varanasi - Kanniyakumari Road via Periyar Bus Stand.

The plan of the lands under acquisition are kept in the offi ce of the District Collector, Madurai - 20 and may be inspected at any time during the offi ce hours.
