WHEREAS, it has become expedient to notify the list of additional free symbols for use in the local body elections, where the number of contesting candidates exceeds 30;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraphs 4 and 6 of the Tamil Nadu Local Bodies Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 2022 and in continuation of the Statutory Order No.03/2022/TNSEC/PE1 dated 6th January 2022 as published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary No.25, Part VI - Section 2, dated 07.01.2022 under Notification No.VI(2)/4(b)/2022, at page 1 to 20 cited, the Commission hereby notifies a list of additional free symbols common for all local body elections.
The list of additional free symbols for the use in the election of Members/Presidents of Village
Panchayats and Members of Panchayat Unions/District Panchayats/Members of Town Panchayats and
Councillors of Municipalities/Corporations.
