Amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Horticultural Subordinate Service

[G.O. Ms. No. 26, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (AA4), 7th February 2022, தை 25, பிலவ, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு–2053.]

No.SRO B-11/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Horticultural Subordinate Service.

The amendments hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on and from the 28th day of June 2019.

Amendment

In the said Special Rules, in the Annexure referred to in sub-rule (b) of rule 5, for the entry "Director of Horticulture and Plantation Crops." in column (3), against the entry "Assistant Horticulture Officer." in column (1) and the entry "By Direct Recruitment" in column (2) thereof, the entry "Director of Horticulture and Plantation Crops or Diploma course in Horticulture awarded by the Annamalai University." shall be substituted.

Amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Extension Subordinate Service.

No.SRO B-12/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Extension Subordinate Service (Section 36 in Volume II of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 1989).

2. The amendments hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on and from the 28th day of June, 2019.

Amendment

In the said Special Rules, in the Annexure referred to in sub-rule (b) of rule 7, in the TABLE, after the entry "Gandhigram Rural Institute, Dindigul District;" in column (2), against the entry "Assistant Agriculture Officer" in column (1) thereof, the entry "or Annamalai University;" shall be inserted.

Amendment to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Regulations.

No.SRO B-13/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to clause (3) of Article 320 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Regulations, 1954 (Volume-I of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 1987).

2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 25th February 2019.

Amendment

In the said Regulations, in Part Ill, in regulation 16, in clause (c), after the fifth proviso, the following proviso shall be added, namely:-

"Provided also that in the case of appointment subsequent to 25th February, 2019, to the category of Assistant Section Officer in the Finance Department in the Tamil Nadu Secretariat Service, by recruitment by transfer from among the holders of the post of Assistant in the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service or the Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service, the Commission shall be consulted."
