CONSTITUTION OF STATE DISASTER MITIGATION FUND (SDMF) UNDER THE DISASTER MANAGEMENT ACT, 2005.

"In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (c) of Section 48(1) of Disaster Management Act, 2005, (53 of Central Act, 2005) the Government of Tamil Nadu hereby Constitutes the State Disaster Mitigation Fund for undertaking projects exclusively for the purpose of disaster mitigation, which takes effect from the date of notifi cation".
2. The Guidelines on Constitution and administration of Tamil Nadu State Disaster Mitigation Fund will be issued separately.
