Amendments to Adhoc Rules relating to the post of Multipurpose Health Workers (Male) and Multipurpose

Health Supervisor (Male) in Tamil Nadu Public Health Subordinate Services

No. SRO B-14/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Rules issued with the erstwhile Health, Indian Medicine and Homeopathy and Family Welfare Department Notifi cation No.SRO B-301/89, published at pages 208-209 of Part III- Section 1 (b) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 6th September 1989, as subsequently amended.

In the said Rules, for the expression "Multi Purpose Health Worker (Male)" wherever it occurs the expression "Health Inspector, Grade-II" shall be substituted.

No. SRO B-15/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Rules published with the erstwhile Health, Indian Medicine and Homeopathy and Family Welfare Department, Notifi cation SRO B-303/89, published at pages 209-210 of Part III - Section 1 (b) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 6th September 1989, as subsequently amended.

No. SRO B-16/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the rules published with the Rural Development and Local Administration Department's Notifi cation SRO A-758 of 1968, dated the 1st November, 1968, at pages 886 to 888 of Part V of the Fort.St.George Gazette, dated the 11th December, 1968.

In the said Rules,-

(1) in rule 3,-

(a) in Clause (ii), for the expression "Architectural - cum - Planning Assistant / Supervisor" the expression "Architectural Assistant / Planning Assistant or Supervisor / Draughtsman Grade II" shall be substituted;

(b) in Clause (ii), the word "or" shall be omitted;

(c) Clause (iii) shall be omitted;

(d) the following proviso shall be added namely: "Provided that the appointment to the post by direct recruitment and by recruitment by transfer shall be made in the ratio of 3: 1." ;

(2) in rule 3 A,-

(a) for the expression "Architectural-cum-Planning Assistant/Supervisor", the expression "Architectural Assistant / Planning Assistant or Supervisor / Draughtsman Grade II" shall be substituted;

(b) the words "Post Diploma or" shall be omitted;

(3) in rule 6, under THE TABLE, for the entries in column (2), against the entry "(a) by direct recruitment" in column (1), the following 'entries shall be substituted, namely:-

"(1) Post Graduate Degree in Town or City or Urban or Housing or Country or Rural or Infrastructure or Regional or Transport or Environmental Planning from a recognized University or Institute; or

(2) Must be an Associate of the Institute of Architects or possess B.Arch degree or possess degree or diploma recognized and equivalent to the National Diploma in Architecture with experience in Town Planning works for a period of not less than three years in a Town Planning Department of Government or in the Statutory Boards or Urban Authorities or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi- Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations or Local Bodies; or

(3) Must possess B.E degree (Civil or Highway) with experience in town planning works for a period of not less than three years in Town Planning Department of Government or in the Statutory Boards or Urban Authorities or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations or Local Bodies; or

(4) Must have passed Sections A & B of the Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) Examination in the Civil Engineering Group with experience in Town Planning work for a period of not less than three years in Town Planning Department of the Government or in the Statutory Boards or Urban Authorities or Universities or Recognised Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi- Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations or Local Bodies; or (5) Must possess Bachelor of Planning or Bachelor of Technology in Planning from a recognized University or Institute with three years experience in the fi eld of Urban or Regional Planning in the State Governments or in the Statutory Boards or Urban Authorities or Universities or Recognised Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations or Local Bodies".

Amendments to the Special Rules for Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service

No.SRO B-17/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service (Section 22 in Volume III of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 2016).

2. The amendments hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 2nd March 2017.

In the said Special Rules,

(1) in Annexure IV, under the heading "Tests to be passed or Training to be undergone before promotion", in the tabular column, under the sub-heading "School Education Department", against the entry "Superintendents, Head Clerks, Accountants and Assistants" in column (1), for item (i) Deputy Inspector's Test in column (2), the following item shall be substituted, namely:-

"(i) Tamil Nadu School Education Department Administrative Test - Paper -I- Higher Secondary / Secondary / Teacher Training and Special Schools; and

Tamil Nadu School Education Department Administrative Test - Paper II - Elementary/Middle and Special Schools;";

(2) in Annexure V, under the heading "Tests to be passed, training to be undergone or other qualifi cation to be acquired by persons appointed in the service:", in the tabular column, under the sub-heading "School Education Department", against the entry (i) Head Clerks and Assistants" in column (1), for the expression "Deputy Inspector's Test" in column (2), the expression "Tamil Nadu School Education Department Administrative Test - Paper - I - Higher Secondary / Secondary / Teacher Training and Special Schools, Tamil Nadu School Education Department Administrative Test - Paper II - Elementary/Middle and Special Schools" shall be substituted;

(3) in Annexure IX-T, in rule 8, in sub-rule (b),• for item (i) Deputy Inspectors Test, the following item shall be substituted, namely:-

"(i) Tamil Nadu School Education Department Administrative Test - Paper - I - Higher Secondary / Secondary / Teacher Training and Special Schools; and

Tamil Nadu School Education Department Administrative Test - Paper II - Elementary/Middle and Special Schools.".
