Amendment to the Notification under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act.
[G.O. Ms. No. 30, Home, Prohibition and Excise (III), 7th April 2022, பங்குனி 24, பிலவ, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு--்-2053.]
No. II(1)/HOPE/28/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 18-B of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937 (Tamil Nadu Act X of 1937), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Prohibition and Excise Department Notification No.II(1)/PE/239(d)/81, published at page 2 of Part II-Section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 1st May 1981, as subsequently amended:-
Amendment
In the said Notification, in the TABLE, in the Annexure under the entry "Indian Made Foreign Spirits (brand names of which are specified in the Annexure) other than sacramental wine" in column (1), under the heading "PREMIUM BRANDS", under the sub-heading "Thiruvalargal Southern Agrifurane Industries Private Limited", the following entries shall be omitted, namely:-
"MGM Sutra Premium Vodka" and
"Brandy Grande Palais XXO".
