NOTICE UNDER SUB-SECTION (1) OF SECTION 15 OF THE TAMIL NADU HIGHWAYS ACT, 2001 (TN ACT 34 OF 2002) READ WITH THE TAMIL NADU LAND ACQUISITION LAWS (REVIVAL OF OPERATION, AMENDMENT AND VALIDATION) ACT, 38 OF 2019

The Government of Tamil Nadu having been satisfi ed that the lands specifi ed in the schedule below to be acquired for Highways purpose to wit for the formation of Kumbakonam By-Pass Road (Phase-III) at Cholanmaligai Village, Kumbakonam Taluk in the District of Thanjavur, and it having already been decided that the entire amount of compensation to be awarded for the lands to be paid out of the funds controlled and managed by the Divisional Engineer (Highways), Construction and Maintenance, Thanjavur. The following notice is issued under sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (TN Act 34 of 2002).
NOTICE
Under sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002) the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby acquires the land/lands specifi ed in the Schedule below measuring an extent of 0.06.60 Hectares of Wet lands and 0.05.20 Hectares of Dry lands to the same, a little more or less needed for Highways purpose wit, for the purpose for the formation of Kumbakonam By-Pass Road (Phase-III) comprised in S.Nos. 36/4B and etc., at Cholanmaligai Village, Kumbakonam Taluk of Thanjavur District.
The plan of the lands are kept in the offi ce of the Additional Collector (Revenue), Thanjavur may be inspected on any day during offi ce hours.
