CONSTITUTION OF SEARCH COMMITTEE TO RECOMMEND A PANEL OF THREE NAMES TO THE CHANCELLOR FOR APPOINTMENT OF VICE CHANCELLOR TO THE BHARATHIAR UNIVERSITY, COIMBATORE UNDER THE BHARATHIAR UNIVERSITY ACT, 1981.

Under Section 12(1) and (2) of the Bharathiar University Act, 1981 (Tamil Nadu Act No.1/1982) and as amended in Tamil Nadu Universities Laws (Amendment) Act, 2017, the Hon'ble Governor-Chancellor has constituted the Search Committee consisting of the following members to recommend a panel of three names to the Hon'ble Governor-Chancellor for appointment of next Vice Chancellor of Bharathiar University, Comibatore:-
1. Thiru P.W.C. Davidar, I.A.S. (Retd), Government Nominee / Convener Plot No. 1008, 7th Street, Mogappair Eri Scheme, Mogappair, Chennai-600 037.
2. Prof. Dr. P. Duraisamy, (Former Vice-Chancellor of University of Madras, Chennai), Syndicate Nominee New No. 3, 3rd Street, Nehru Nagar, Adayar, Chennai-600 020.
