I. VESTING OF PROPERTIES.

WHEREAS, an application has been made to the Government of Tamil Nadu under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 6 of the Charitable Endowments Act, 1890 (Central Act VI of 1890) by Dr. A. Pethalakshmi, residing at No.21, Main Muruga IlIam, Alagu Meenal Complex, College Road, Karaikudi-630 003 the donor of the said Endowment for vesting the property specifi ed in the Schedule below, in the Treasurer of Charitable Endowments, Chennai, appointed under Section 3 of the said Act for the State of Tamil Nadu, the Governor of Tamil Nadu, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the said Act, hereby orders that the said property be vested in the Treasurer aforesaid, and be held by her and her successors in offi ce, subject to the provisions of the said Act and the Rules which from time to time, may be or shall be made or deemed to have been made there under and subject to the conditions setforth in the Scheme settled under Section 5 of the said Act, for the administration of the said Endowment.

No. II(2)/LWSD/775/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 87 read with Section 91A of the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948 (Central Act XXXIV of 1948), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby exempts the Kanyakumari Medical Mission, Neyyoor, Kanyakumari District from the operation of the said Act for the further period of one year from 08.05.2022 to 07.05.2023.

(1) The above exemption is subject to the following conditions, namely:-

(a) The aforesaid Management wherein the employees employed shall maintain a Register showing the names and designations of the exempted employees.

(b) enter any Management, offi ce or other premises occupied by such principal or immediate employer at any reasonable time and require any person found in charge thereof to produce to such Social Security Officer or other official and allow him to examine such documents, books and other documents relating to the employment of persons and payment of wages or to furnish to him such information as he may consider necessary; or

(c) examine the principal or immediate employer, his agent or servant, or any person found in such Management, office or other premises, or any person when the said Social Security O ff i c e r o r o t h e r o ff i c i a l h a s r e a s o n a b l e cause to believe to have been an employee; or (d) make copies of or take extracts from any register, account book or other document maintained in such Management offi ce or other premises.

Revision of minimum rates of wages for Employment

in Neera Tapping under the Minimum Wages Act.

(b) Notwithstanding the exemption, the employees shall continue to receive such benefi ts under the said Act to which they might have become entitled to on the basis of the contributions paid prior to the date from which exemption granted by this Notifi cation operates.

(c) The contribution for the exempted period, if already paid shall not be refunded.

No. II(2)/LWSD/776/2022.—The following draft Notifi cation, which is proposed to be issued in exerciseSep. 28, 2022] TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE 971 of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 3 and sub-section (2) of Section 5 of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 (Central Act XI of 1948), is hereby published for information of all persons likely to be affected thereby, as required by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 5 of the said Act.

(iii) The fi rst calculation shall thus be effective from the date of publication of this Notifi cation in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette based on the average of Chennai City Consumer Price Index for the previous year.

(2) Where the nature of work is the same, no distinction in the payment of wages shall be made between men and women employees.

(3) To arrive at monthly rates of wages, the daily wages shall be multiplied by 30.

(4) Wherever the existing wages are higher than the minimum wages fi xed herein, the existing wages shall be continued to be paid.

(i) The dearness allowance is linked to the Average Chennai City Consumer Price Index Number for the year 2010, that is 161 points (with base 2001=100) and for every raise of one point over and above 161 points, an increase of Rs.3.04 (Rupees Three and Four paise) per day shall be paid as dearness allowance.

(ii) The dearness allowance shall be calculated every year on the fi rst April on the basis of the average of the indices for the preceding twelve months, that is from January to December.

என்ற தொழிற்சங்கத்திற்குமிடையே இணைப்பில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளவாறு

தொழிற்தகராறு எழுந்துள்ளது என்று அரசு கருதுவதாலும்;

தமிழ்நாடு அரசு போக்குவரத்துக் கழகம் (திருநெல்வேலி) லிட்,

மேற்சொன்ன தகராறை எழுவினாவுடன் கோவை தொழிலாளர் திருநெல்வேலி மண்டலத்தில் ஓட்டுநராக பணிபுரியும்

நீதிமன்றத்தின் தீர்ப்புக்காக அனுப்புவது அவசியமென்று தமிழ்நாடு திரு. C. மாரிராஜ் (பணி எண். 9848) என்பவருக்கு வருடாந்திர

ஆளுநர் அவர்கள் கருதுவதாலும்;
