"Under the powers conferred on the Registrar of Industrial Co-operatives under Section 137(2)(b) of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act 1983 (Act 30 of 1983), the affairs of the Vellore District Irula Biomass and Household Products Manufacturers' Livelihood Industrial Co-operative Society Ltd., IND No.10, Ranipet District, have been ordered to be wound up with immediate effect by the Additional Commissioner of Industries and Commerce and the Registrar of Industrial Co-operatives, Chennai, vide Proc.No. 9073/lCB/2019-1 dated, 27-09-2022.

Under Section 138(1) of the same Act, the Assistant Director of Industries and Commerce (IndI.Co-ops), District Industries Centre, Vellore who is holding charge of Industrial Co-operative Wing of District Industries Centre, Ranipet has been appointed as the Offi cial Liquidator of the said society for the purpose of liquidation.

Elections to the Tamil Nadu Medical Council, Chennai during the year 2023

In Accordance With Rule 2, In Regard to the Elections to the Tamil Nadu Medical Council, Chennai, under clause (F) of sub-Section (1) of Section 5 of The Madras Medical Registration Act, 1914 (Act IV of 1914) as Amended by the Madras Medical Registration (Amendment) Act XVI of 1938, Notice is hereby given that an Election of Seven Members of the Council to be Elected from amongst themselves by the Registered Medical Practitioners whose names appear in the printed Medical Registers (Electoral Roll-Soft Copy) updated upto 30th June 2022 available in the Medical Council offi ce, will be held.

Nomination paper in form II under the rule will be supplied by the returning Offi cer to any elector who may apply for the same from 19.10.2022. These must be fi led in accordance with the instructions thereon and returned to the returning Offi cer not later than 3.P.M on Monday, the 31st October, 2022. The scrutiny of nomination papers will take place at 11.A.M on Tuesday the 1st November, 2022 at the offi ce of the returning offi cer. A list of valid nominations will be published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette on Wednesday, the 9th november, 2022. Last date for withdrawal of nomination is 3 p.M. Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of rule 5 in regard to the elections to the Tamil Nadu Medical Council, Chennai under Clause (f) sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Madras Medical Registration Act, 1914 as amended by the Madras Medical Registration (Amendment Act XVI of 1938) that the election of seven members to the Tamil Nadu Medical Council, Chennai, to serve for a term of fi ve years is to be held and the electorate is called upon to elect the members.

Nominations of eligible persons to fi ll the vacancies are invited.

Each candidate must be nominated by separate nomination paper, but any person entitled to vote at the election may sign the nomination paper of any number of candidates not exceeding the number to be elected and for which he is entitled to vote. Every nomination paper must be in Form II giving all the details as required therein.

The nomination paper must reach the undersigned not later than 3 P.M. on Monday the 31st October, 2022 from whom nomination papers may be obtained on application. Nomination papers which are not received by the Returning offi cer by the aforesaid date and time will be invalid. Each candidate standing for election shall deposit or cause to be deposited with the Returning offi cer the sum of Rupees Five Thousand only in Cash on or before Monday, the 31st October, 2022 (3 P.M) and no candidate shall be deemed to be duly nominated unless such deposit has been made.
