In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (2) of Section 33 of Town and Country Planning Act 1971, the Director of Town and Country Planning here by confirms the following individual draft variation for Delection of B-B 40'-0'' feet scheme road part & C-C 30'-0'' feet scheme road part, R.S.No. 377/3, Ward No. XXI, Block No.11 T.S.No. 46, Extent:- 2.98 Acres, Madakkulam Village, Thirupparankundram Taluk, Madurai Corporation, Madurai District, to the Approved Madakkulam Detailed Development Plan No. 7 of Madurai Local Planning Area Approved by Director of Town and Country Planning, Proceeding in Roc.No. 15290/94/DP2, dated: 27.05.1994 and the fact of this approval in Form No. 12 published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No. 3, Part-VI—Section 1, Page No. 48, dated 25.01.1995 and the said notification published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No. 19, Part-VI—Section 1, Page No. 243, dated 12.05.2021, Publication No. VI(1)/134/2021.
Since no objections and suggestions have been not received on the draft notification within the stipulated time, the same are here by confirmed and ordered as below.
Confirmation of Variation
1. Where the expression Madakkulam Detailed Development Plan No. 7 Map No.4, DDP(MR) / DTCP/CTCP No. 42/1994, occurs the expression of DDP(V)/DTCP No.10/2021 should be added at the end and to be read with.
2. Based on the Variation the details specified in Madakkulam Detailed Development Plan No. 7, B-B scheme Road part & C-C scheme Road part should be deleted or substituted accordingly.
3. The draft made enforceable from the date of publication of the confirmed variation notification to be issued U/S 33(2) of the Act in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act, 1873 (Central Act III of 1873) the High Court, Madras, hereby fixes Thirukkuvalai in Nagapattinam District as the place at which the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Thirukkuvalai shall be located.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 11 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act, 1873 (Central Act III of 1873) the High Court, Madras, hereby Directs that in Nagapattinam District, the District Munsif Court, Nagapattinam, shall cease to have local jurisdiction over the entire Thirukkuvalai Taluk and the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Thirukkuvalai shall have and exercise local jurisdiction over the entire Taluk of Thirukkuvalai with effect from the date on which the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Thirukkuvalai assumes charge of that Court.

The High Court, Madras hereby directs and notifies that the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Thirukkuvalai in Nagapattinam District shall exercise all the powers conferred on a District Munsif under Section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act, 1873 (Central Act III of 1873) as amended up-to-date in regard to original suits and proceedings not otherwise exempted from his cognizance of which the amount or value of the subject matter does not exceed One Lakh Rupees within the local limits of his/her jurisdiction with effect from the date on which the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Thirukkuvalai assumes charge of that Court.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 28 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act, 1873 (Central Act III of 1873) the High Court, Madras, hereby directs that the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Thirukkuvalai, shall have and exercise jurisdiction of a Court of Small Causes under the Provincial Small Cause Courts Act, 1887 for the trial of suits cognizable by a Court of small Causes upto the pecuniary limits of Rs.5000/- (Rupees five thousand only) with effect from the date on which the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Thirukkuvalai, assumes charge of that Court.

No. 301/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 13 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974), the High Court hereby appoints the following (i) 8 Deputy Tahsildars in Tirunelveli District, (ii) 5 Deputy Tahsildars in Vellore District and (iii) 6 Deputy Tahsildars in Thoothukudi District, to undergo Magisterial Training for a period of 120 days, from the date of assumption of charge and confers upon them the ordinary powers conferable under this Code on a Judicial Magistrate to try such cases which were earlier triable and dealt with by an erstwhile Judicial Second Class Magistrate.
