Vacation and Holidays for the subordinate Courts in the State of Tamil Nadu for the Year 2023.

The Subordinate Civil Courts in the State of Tamil Nadu are required to observe the following periods of adjournments in respect of the Vacation and Holidays for the year 2023:

VACATION & HOLIDAYS:

2. The Holidays for all the Subordinate Courts in the State of Tamil Nadu, for the year 2023 are as follows :-

(a) All Sundays are Holidays for all the Subordinate Courts including Family Courts functioning in the State of Tamil Nadu.

(b) The following 10 Saturdays are working days for all the Subordinate Courts including Family Courts functioning in the State of Tamil Nadu 07.01.2023, 18.02.2023, 04.03.2023, 03.06.2023, 01.07.2023, 05.08.2023, 02.09.2023, 07.10.2023, 04.11.2023 and 02.12.2023.

(c) Except the above Saturdays, all other Saturdays are holidays for all the Subordinate Courts, except Family Courts.

(d) All the Family Courts functioning in the State of Tamil Nadu shall also work on 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month except those Saturdays which are declared as Public Holidays. All other Saturdays are declared as holidays.

(e) List of Public Holidays and Court Holidays is as follows:-

Note: As New Year's Day (01.01.2023), Pongal (15.01.2023), Thai Poosam (05.02.2023), Ramzan (Idu'l Fitr) (22.04.2023), Muharram (29.07.2023), Vinayakar Chathurthi (17.09.2023) and Deepavali (12.11.2023) fall on Saturdays/Sundays, these days are not shown in the above list.

3. All the Principal District Judges / District Judges and Unit Heads in Chennai City are directed to issue Notifi cation in the Offi cial Gazette declaring the periods of adjournments specifi ed in Para - 1 above, as 'Vacation and Holidays' and other Holidays specifi ed in Para - 2 above as 'Holidays' for all the Civil Courts in their Jurisdiction, in consonance with the above instructions.

4. All the Chief Judicial Magistrates / Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai are directed to issue Notifi cation in the Offi cial Gazette declaring the Holidays specifi ed in para - 2 above only, as 'Holidays' for all the Criminal Courts in their Jurisdiction.

5. The fi rst two weeks of May 2023 (i.e. from 01.05.2023 to 14.05.2023) are declared as holidays for all the Family Courts functioning in the State of Tamil Nadu. The Offi ces of the Family Courts shall function during the said period The receipt of this Offi cial Memorandum is required to be acknowledged immediately.

In exercise of power conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 32 of Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) and exercise and Powers confi rmed by the G.O. Ms.No.94 Housing and Urban Development (4-1) Department, dated 12.06.2009 which has been published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No. 27, Part II—Section 2 dated:15.07.2009.

Land use zone conversion from AGRICULTURAL use zone into RESIDENTIAL use zone ordered in G.O. (2D) No. 177, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(1)] Department dated 14.07.2022 subject to the condition the following variations are made to the Approved Master Plan of Coimbatore Local Planning Area under the said Act and published in the G.O.Ms. No. 661, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(1)], dated 12.10.1994 notifi cation No.II(2)/HOU/4377/94 at Page No. 1078 of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 09.11.1994.

In the Approved Coimbatore Master Plan, under the heading permitted Land use in various survey numbers of Coimbatore Local Planning Area, under heading in Village Kondayampalayam page 314 the following S.Nos. 284/1A1A entries should be made.

Under the heading "Residential use zone" the following S.No. 284/1A1A after the entry S.No. 281.

Under the heading "Agricultural use zone" use zone 284 to 299 shall be deleted and the following S.F.No. 284 (Except 284/1A1A), 285 to 299 shall be substituted.

Conditions: [G.O. (2D) No.177, Housing and Urban Development Department UD4 (L.Re.1) dated : 14.07.2022.] (i) கோயம்புத்தூர் உள்ளூர் திட்டக்குழுத்தின் 07.04.2022 ஆம் நாளிட்ட தீர்மானத்தின் தெரிவித்துள்ளவாறு இடத்தினை ஒட்டி வடக்கில் அமைந்துள்ள கௌசிகா நதியினை ஒட்டி மனுதாரர் 15 மீட்டர் திறவெளி விடப்படவேண்டும்.

(ii) இடத்தினை ஒட்டி கௌசிகா நதி அமைந்துள்ளதால் நீர்நிலைகளை ஒட்டி மேற்கொள்ளப்படும் வளர்ச்சிகளுக்கு தேவையான வழிமுறைகளை பின்பற்றப்படவேண்டும்.

(iii) தமிழ்நாடு ஒருங்கிணைந்த வளர்ச்சி மற்றும் கட்டிட விதிகள் 2019-க்குட்பட்டு வளர்்ச்சிப்பணிகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட வேண்டும்.

In the Approved Coimbatore Master Plan, under the heading permitted Land use in various survey numbers of Coimbatore Local Planning Area, under heading in Village Kalikkanaickenpalayam Page No. 323, 324, the following S.Nos. 853/1A1, 854, 855, 857, 863/3, 864/1C, 864/2C entries should be made.

Under the heading "Residential use zone" the following S.No. 853/1A1, 854, 855, 857 shall be added after the entry 835 to 837 & S.F.No. 863/3, 864/1C, 864/2C shall be added after the entry 862.

Under the heading "Agricultural dry use zone" the following S.No. 833 to 861 shall be deleted and the expression 838 to 852, 853pt (except 853/1A1), 856, 858 to 861 and S.F.No. 863 to 869 shall be deleted and the expression 863pt (Except 863/3) 864pt, (Except 864/1C, 864/2C) 865 to 869 shall substituted.

4. வருவாய்த்துறை (ம) வனத்துறை டிதரிவித்துள்ள நிபந்தனைகளை தவறாது கடைபிழக்க வெண்டும்.

Variation to the Consented Kagithapuram New Town Development Plan

In exercise of powers conferred under sub-section (4) of the Section 32 of Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972), Land use conversion from Commercial and Agricultural use zone into Residential use zone is ordered vide G.O(2P).Ms.No 213, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(LUC1)] Department dated: 02.09.2022.

In exercise of powers conferred vide G.O(Ms) No. 102, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(L.Re-I] Department dated: 18.08.2021, the following variations are made to the Kagithapuram New Town Development Plan which was Consented under the said Act in G.O.Ms. No 308, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(2)] Department dated: 27.07.2004 and in Notifi cation No. VI(1)/506/2006 at page No. 373, of Part VI—Section 1, of No. 42 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 01.11.2006.

In the said Consented Kagithapuram New Town Development Plan in the land use schedule, under the heading in I(b)-Mixed Residential Use Zone in Punnam Village at Page Nos. 43 with regard to S.F.Nos. 371/2 the following entries should be made;

1 Under the sub-heading Use Zone III Industrial Use Zone-Controlled Industries- (IC) in the S.F. No. Against the entry - 1C4.(35.Punnam), the expression S.F.Nos. "371/2" shall be inserted before the entry "394"

2. Under the sub-heading, I (b) Mixed Residential use Zone (MR) in the S.F.No. against the entry MR1 (35. Punnam), the SF.No. 370 to 393 shall be deleted and substituted as "370,372 to 393, aII sub division of 371 except 371/2" shall be substituted.

In the Approved Salem Master Plan, under the heading permitted Land use in various survey numbers of Salem Local Planning Area under heading in Omalur Panchayat Union, village No.69, Pagalpatti Panchayat/Village, page 157 and 158 in S.F.No.180/1J2 and 180/1K2 the following entries should be made.

Under the heading Residential use zone, the following Survey No.180/1J2 and 180/1K2 shall be added .

Variation to the Approved Salem Master Plan for the Local Planning Area

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (4) of section 32 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972), Land use zone conversion from Agricultural use zone into Residential use zone is ordered in G.O.(2ப).No.275, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(நி.ப.மா-1)] Department, dated 09.11.2022.

In exercise of powers confi rmed by the G.O.Ms.No.102, Housing and Urban Development UD4(L.Re-1) Department, dated: 18.8.2021, the following variations are made to the Approved Master Plan of Salem Local Planning Authority which was approved in the G.O.Ms.No.105, Housing and Urban Development [UD4.2] Department, dated 22.03.2005 and published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Notifi cation No.14 at page No. 168 of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 13.04.2005.

In the Approved Salem Master Plan, under the heading permitted Land use in various survey numbers of Salem Local Planning Area under heading in Salem Panchayat Union, Village No. 32, Kondamanayakanpatti Panchayat / Village, page 96 and 97 in S.F.No.48/1B1C the following entries should be made.

Under the heading Residential use zone, the following Survey No. 48/1B1C shall be added.

Under the heading Agricultural (AG-57) use zone, The Survey No. 48 (Except 48/1B1C) shall be substituted instead of the Survey No 48.
