NOTIFICATION UNDER THE MANOEUVRES, FIELD FIRING AND ARTILLERY PRACTICE ACT. DEFINING OF CERTAIN AREA IN TIRUCHIRAPPALLI DISTRICT AND AUTHORISATION OF CARRYING OUT PERIODICAL FIELD FIRING AND ARTILLERY PRACTICE UNDER THE ACT.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Manoeuvres, Field Firing and Artillery Practice Act, 1938 (Central Act V of 1938), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby defines the area specified in the Schedule below as an area within which the field firing practice may be authorised for a term of two and half years from the date of issue of this notification under sub-section (2) of Section 9 of the said Act.

NOTICE

Under sub-section (3) of Section 9 of the Manoeuvres, Field Firing and Artillery Practice Act, 1938 (Central Act V of 1938), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby gives notice of his intention to issue a notification under sub-section (2) of the Section 9 of the said Act, authorising the carrying out of field firing practice throughout the area specified in the Schedule below and notified under sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the said Act, or any part there of for a term of two and half years from the date of notification to be issued under sub-section (2) of Section 9 of the said Act, after the expiry of two months from the date of first publication of this Notice in the Official Gazette.
