NOTICE UNDER SECTION (1) OF SECTION 4 OF THE TAMIL NADU ACQUISITION OF LAND FOR INDUSTRIAL PURPOSES ACT, 1997 (TAMIL NADU ACT 10 OF 1999)
WITHDRAWAL FROM ACQUISITION OF LANDS
[G.O.Ms. No. 40, Transport (I.2), 24th March 2023, பங்குனி 10, சுபகிருது, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2054.] No. II(2)/TRA/301(e-1)/2023.
Under sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 10 of 1999) the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby withdraws from acquisition of the land / lands specified in the Schedule below in respect of which notice under sub-section (1) of Section 3 was published by the Transport Department at Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.130, dated the 09.04.2018, the actual possession of which was not taken by, or on behalf of the Government.

Under sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 10 of 1999), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby withdraws from Acquisition of the Land / Lands specified in the schedule below in respect of which notice under sub-section (1) of Section 3 was published by the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chepauk, Chennai-5 in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.578, dated 06.12.2021 and the Railway Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), Chennai have also decided to withdraw the Acquisition Proceedings in their Letter No. RVNL / DGM / MAS / MDU - TN / VPT / Land Acquisition, Dated 12.05.2022. Hence the below mentioned lands in the schedule are withdrawn from the land acquisition proceedings and physical of the Land / Lands which was not taken by Government or on behalf of the Government.
