In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Periyasamy Vadamalai, as an Additional Judge of the Madras High Court for a period of two years with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to transfer (i) Shri Justice Battu Devanand, Judge, Andhra Pradesh High Court and (ii) Dr. Justice Devaraju Nagarjun, Judge, Telangana High Court as Judges of the Madras High Court and to direct them to assume change of their respective offices in the Madras High Court.
