under the Tamil Nadu Forest Act.

The following Realignment is issued as Notification [G.O. Ms. No. 86, Environment, Climate Change and Forests (FR.13), 19th May 2023, வைகாசி 5, சோபகிருது, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2054.]

No. II(2)/ECCF/550/2023.-In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 16 of the Tamil Nadu Forest Act, 1882 (Tamil Nadu Act V of 1882), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby declares that the area, the boundaries of which are specified in the Schedule below, as reserved forest with effect on and from 22.11.2023.

The Schedule.

No. II(2)/LWSD/385/2023 is published at page No. 345 in Part II-Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No. 16, dated 19th April 2023 in G.O.Ms. No. 61, Labour Welfare and Skill Development (I1), 30th March 2023, பங்குனி 16, சுபகிருது, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2054.

BOUNDARIES.

North.- The boundary of the Forest Block is starting from the Junction point of Survey Numbers 236/1 and 236/2 Notifications under the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (In Financial Establishments) Act. of No. 1, Pillayarnatham Village and it generally runs towards east along the southern side of Survey Number 236/1 and it reaches the tri-junction point of Survey Numbers 236/2, 219 and 237 of No.1, Pillayarnatham Village.

South.- Thence, the boundary generally runs towards west along the northern side of Pillayarnatham Reserved Forests and reaches the tri-junction point of Survey Numbers 236/1, 236/2 of No. 1, Pillayarnatham Village and Pillayarnatham Reserved Forests.

West.- Thence, the boundary generally runs towards north along the eastern side of Survey Numbers 236/1 of No. 1, Pillayarnatham Village reaches the starting point.

From the Additional Director General of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Chennai, letter Rc.No. C1/EOW-II/177/2013, dated 12.3.2021.

Order: No. 220, Home (Police - XIX), dated 8th May 2023.

WHEREAS, complaints have been received from a number of depositors that Messers Nirmal Krishna Benefit Fund @ Nirmal Krishna Nidhi Limited, Palugal Krishna Chits (Private) Limited and Nirmal Krishna Chits (Private) Limited, Kanniyakumari District have defaulted the return of deposits made by the depositors after maturity;

AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that the said financial establishments are not likely to return the deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government have to protect the interests of such depositors;

AND WHEREAS, it is alleged that the Proprietor / partner of the said financial establishments has procured the immovable properties specified in Serial Numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,10,12, 13,14,15,16 and 17 of the Schedule to this Order from and out of the deposit collected by the Financial Establishment;

AND WHEREAS, since, the immovable properties specified above are not sufficient to repay the deposits to the depositors, it is proposed to attach other properties of the proprietor of the said financial establishments viz., Thiru K. Nirmalan, S/o. Krishnan Nair specified in Serial Numbers 8 and 11 of the Schedule to the order which were purchased prior to the commencement of business of the said Financial Establishment.

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes an ad-interim order attaching the immovable properties which are standing in the name of Thiru K. Nirmalan, who is the Managing Director of Messers Nirmal Krishna Benefit Fund @ Nirmal Krishna Nidhi Limited, Palugal Krishna Chits (Private) Limited and Nirmal Krishna Chits (Private) Limited, No.17/E1, E2, E4-Mathempalai, Palugal Post, Kanniyakumari District as specified in the Schedule to this order and transfers the control over the said immovable properties to the Competent Authority, namely, the Competent Authority and District Revenue Officer, Kanniyakumari District @ Nagercoil appointed under the said Act.

2. The Competent Authority and District Revenue Officer, Kanniyakumari District @ Nagercoil is requested to pursue further action in accordance with the procedure laid down in sub-sections (3) and (4) of Section 4 of the said Act and also the formalities prescribed in the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Rules, 1997.

3. The Special Public Prosecutor, Special Court for the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 1997, Madurai is requested to render necessary assistance to the Competent Authority and District Revenue Officer, Kanniyakumari District @ Nagercoil for filing the application before the said Special Court.

WHEREAS, complaints have been received from a number

of depositors that M/s. Sri Vari Finance, Coimbatore District,

a financial establishment, has defaulted the return of deposits

made by the depositors after maturity;

AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that the

said financial establishment is not likely to return the deposits

the immovable properties purchased in the name of Thiru P. Devaraj (A7), S/o. Padmanabhan, from and out of the deposits collected by the defaulted financial establishment, namely M/s. Sri Vari Finance functioned at No.120, Sri Vari Illam, KRGP Nagar, T. Kottampatti, Pollachi, Coimbatore District, as specified in the Schedule to this order and transfers the control over the said immovable properties to the Competent Authority, namely, the Competent Authority and District Revenue Officer, Coimbatore District appointed under the said Act.
