Amendment to the Adhoc Rules relating to the Temporary post of Bursar in Government Colleges in

Tamil Nadu Educational Service

[G.O. Ms. No. 2, Higher Education (G2), 8th January 2024, மார்கழி 23, சோபகிருது, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2054.] No. SRO B-1/2024.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following Amendment to the Rules published with the Education Department Notification SRO No.B-153/77, dated the 2nd March 1977, at pages 178-179 of Part III–Section 1(b) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 30th March 1977, as subsequently amended.

2. The amendment hereby made shall come into force on 08.01.2024.

Amendment

In the said Rules, in rule 4, in the proviso to sub-rule (a) for the expression "thirty five years" the expression "fifty nine years" shall be substituted.

Amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Educational Service

[G.O. Ms. No. 4, Higher Education (B1), 10th January 2024, மார்கழி 25, சோபகிருது, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2054.] No. SRO B-2/2024.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following Amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Educational Service (Section 8 of the Tamil Nadu Services manual, Volume-II).

2. The amendments hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on 01.03.2019.

Amendments

In the said Rules,-

(1) in rule 5, in sub-rule (a), in the Table, in column (2) against the entry

"9. Principal and Professors, Engineering Colleges" in column (1), for the expression "Forty Five years", the expression "Fifty Seven years" shall be substituted.

(2) in the Annexure, in the Tabular column against the entry "Principals, Engineering Colleges" in Column (3),- (i) for the expression "Promotion and Direct recruitment" in column (4), the expression "By promotion" shall be substituted.

(ii) after the entries in columns (4) and (5), the following entries shall be repectively be inserted, namely:-

a. Ph.D degree and First Class or equivalent at Either Bachelor's or Direct Recruitment

Master's level in the relevant branch.

b. At least two successful Ph.D guided as supervisor/Co-Supervisor

and minimum 8 research publications in SCI journals / UGC /

AICTE approved list of journals.

c. Minimum 15 years of experience in teaching / research / industry,

out of which at least 3 years shall be at the post equivalent to that

of Professor.

Thiruvalluvar Aandu-2054.]

No. SRO B-3/2024.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Medical Subordinate Service (Section 21 in Volume III of Tamil Nadu Service Manual, 2016).

Amendments.

In the said Rules, in Part III, under the heading Branch IV-General,-

(1) for rule 4B, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-

"4B. Seniority - For appointment by promotion to the post of Laboratory Supervisor and Laboratory Technician Grade-I, the Director of Medical Education and Research shall follow State Wide Seniority";

(2) in ANNEXURE I (referred to in rule 4), in the tabular column, under the sub-heading Class I in column (1), for the expression "Head of the Institution concerned" in column (2) against the expression "Category-1 Laboratory Supervisor" in column (1), thereof, the expression "the Director of Medical Education and Research" shall be substituted.
