[ELECTIONS – URBAN LOCAL BODIES - INDIRECT ELECTIONS – CASUAL VACANCIES IN THE OFFICE OF THE MEMBER OF TAXATION APPEALS COMMITTEE - CONDUCT OF MEETING - NOTIFIED].

(S.O.No. 1/2024/TNSEC/ME-2, dated, the 23rd February 2024)

No.VI(2)/4(a)/2024.

In exercise of the powers conferred under section 5 & section 100 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998 (Tamil Nadu Act 9 of 1999) and sub-rule (4) of rule 112 & 270 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Rules, 2023, the Tamil Nadu State Election Commission hereby fixes 06.03.2024 as the date for convening meetings to elect the Member of Taxation Appeals Committee shown in the Annexure, in accordance with the following programme:-

1. Last date for service of notice for the meetings of election of Member of Taxation Appeals Committee. 27.02.2024
2. Statutory interval 28.02.2024 to 05.03.2024
3. Date for conduct of meeting for the election of Member of Taxation Appeals Committee 06.03.2024
