சித்திரை 5, குரோதி, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2055.] Places and Dates for Conducting Jallikattu for certain District under clause (dd) of Section 2 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 as amended by the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Tamil Nadu Amendment) Ordinance, 2017 (Tamil Nadu Ordinance 1 of 2017).

No. II(2)/AHDFFW/415/2024.—Under clause (dd) of Section 2 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 (Central Act 59 of 1960), as amended by the Prevention No. II(2)/HO/417/2024.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the first paragraph of Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act, 1873 (Central Act III of 1873), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, hereby alters the number of District Munsifs to be appointed under the said Act for Kancheepuram District as five with effect from the date on which the District Munsif assumes charge of the District Munsif 's Court at Kundrathur.

of Cruelty to Animals (Tamil Nadu Amendment), Act, 2017 (Tamil Nadu Act 1 of 2017), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby notifies that Jallikattu may be conducted on 24.01.2024 in the place specified below, subject to the adherence of the Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) for norms specified in the Government Letter No. 5516/AH3-2/2023, dated 22.12.2023, and by following the restrictions announced by the State / District Disaster Management Authorities from time to time with the condition that Insurance for spectators for Rs.5.00 lakh per individual upto a maximum insurance of Rs.1.00 crore for the event should to be taken:

Notifications under the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts, Act

Constitution of an Additional District Judge's Court at

No. II(2)/HO/419/2024.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act, 1873 (Central Act III of 1873), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, hereby directs that, in the District of Kancheepuram, the Subordinate Judge's Court at Kancheepuram shall have and exercise original jurisdiction over the District Munsifs Court at Kundrathur in addition to its existing jurisdiction with effect from the date on which the District Munsif assumes charge of the District Munsif 's Court at Kundrathur.

Aruppukottai in Virudhunagar District under the Act.

[G.O.Ms. No. 282, Home (Courts-III), 18th April 2024,

No. II(2)/HO/416/2024.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3-A of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act, 1873 (Central Act III of 1873), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with the High Court, Madras, hereby appoints one more Additional District Judge to the Principal District Court, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputtur and also alters the number of District Judge and Additional District Judges to be appointed to the said District Court as six with effect on and from the date on which the said Additional District Judge assumes charge of the Additional District Court at Aruppukottai in Virudhunagar District.
