of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Central Act II of 1899),
the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby provides for the
payment of consolidated stamp duty of Rs.80,00,000/-
(Rupees Eighty Lakh Only) chargeable under the said
Act in respect of issue of insurance policies by the
Life Insurance Corporation of India, Divisional Office-II,
Anna Nagar, Chennai for the period from 01.01.2024 to
31.03.2024.

No. II(2)/HO/425/2024.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 16 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974) read with the proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the said Code, the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with the High Court, Madras, hereby designates the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Chennai as Special Court for trial of idol theft cases covering the districts of Ariyalur, Chengalpattu, Chennai, Coimbatore, Cuddalore, Dharmapuri, Kancheepuram, Erode, Krishnagiri, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Namakkal, The Nilgiris, Perambalur, Ranipet, Salem, Tiruppur, Tirupathur, Tiruvallur, Tiruvannamalai, Tiruvarur, Vellore, Villupuram and Kallakurichi.

(Rupees Twenty Lakh Only) chargeable under the said
