AMENDMENTS TO INTRODUCING INCENTIVE TO THE WORKERS REGISTERED WITH TAMIL NADU MANUAL WORKERS SOCIAL SECURITY AND WELFARE BOARD AND 17 OTHER WELFARE BOARDS AND THEIR CHILDREN FOR THE PARTICIPATION IN NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SPORTS COMPETITIONS SCHEMES 2006.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 33 of 1982), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with the Advisory Committee, hereby makes the following amendments to the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers Social Security and Welfare Scheme, 2006, namely: -
Amendments.
In the said Scheme, -
(1) after clause 24, the following clause shall be inserted, namely: -
"24A. Incentive for the participation in National / International level sports competition. (1) The incentive of a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) or expenses for travel, accommodation and food, whichever is less, for the participation in National level sports competition and a sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees thirty thousand only) for the participation in International level sports competition by registered manual worker/children of a registered manual worker shall be sanctioned by the Assistant Commissioner of Labour (Social Security Scheme) of the respective districts after due verification of the details furnished in form XV-A.
(2) The amount shall be sanctioned only if the following conditions are fulfilled, namely: -
(a). the application for claiming this incentive amount specified in sub- clause (1) shall be in form XV-A.
(b). the registered manual worker shall have no dues payable to the Board.
(c). this incentive can be availed one time only in the year of participation.
(d). the claim application shall be accompanied by the certificate of participation and bonafide certificate duly issued by the competent organizer recognized by the Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority / Sports Authority of India.
(e). the registered manual worker / children of the registered manual worker will be eligible to avail this incentive

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 33 of 1982), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with the Advisory Committee, hereby makes the following amendments to the Tamil Nadu Handicraft Workers Social Security and Welfare Scheme, 2006, namely: -
Amendments.
In the said Scheme, -
(1) after clause 24, the following clause shall be inserted, namely: -
"24A. Incentive for the participation in National / International level sports competition. (1) The incentive of a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) or expenses for travel, accommodation and food, whichever is less, for the participation in National level sports competition and a sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees thirty thousand only) for theTAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY 13 participation in International level sports competition by registered manual worker/children of a registered manual worker shall be sanctioned by the Assistant Commissioner of Labour (Social Security Scheme) of the respective districts after due verification of the details furnished in form XV-A.
(2) The amount shall be sanctioned only if the following conditions are fulfilled, namely: -
(a). the application for claiming this incentive amount specified in sub- clause (1) shall be in form XV-A.
(b). the registered manual worker shall have no dues payable to the Board.
(c). this incentive can be availed one time only in the year of participation.
(d). the claim application shall be accompanied by the certificate of participation and bonafide certificate duly issued by the competent organizer recognized by the Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority / Sports Authority of India.
(e). the registered manual worker / children of the registered manual worker will be eligible to avail this incentive amount under the scheme only if they have not availed similar benefits of any other schemes of the Government".

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 33 of 1982), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with the Advisory Committee, hereby makes the following amendments to the Tamil Nadu Fire and Match Workers' Social Security Welfare Scheme, 2021, namely: -
Amendments.
In the said Scheme, -
(1) after clause 24, the following clause shall be inserted, namely: -
"24A. Incentive for the participation in National / International level sports competition. (1) The incentive of a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) or expenses for travel, accommodation and food, whichever is less, for the participation in National level sports competition and a sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees thirty thousand only) for the participation in International level sports competition by registered manual worker/children of a registered manual worker shall be sanctioned by the Assistant Commissioner of Labour (Social Security Scheme) of the respective districts after due verification of the details furnished in form XVI-A.
(2) The amount shall be sanctioned only if the following conditions are fulfilled, namely: -
(a). the application for claiming this incentive amount specified in sub- clause (1) shall be in form XVI-A.
(b). the registered manual worker shall have no dues payable to the Board.
(c). this incentive can be availed one time only in the year of participation.
(d). the claim application shall be accompanied by the certificate of participation and bonafide certificate duly issued by the competent organizer recognized by the Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority / Sports Authority of India.
(e). the registered manual worker / children of the registered manual worker will be eligible to avail this incentive amount under the scheme only if they have not availed similar benefits of any other schemes of the Government".
(2) after Form – XVI, the following Form shall be inserted, namely:-
