NOMINATION OF SEARCH COMMITTEE MEMBERS TO RECOMMEND A PANEL OF THREE NAMES TO THE CHANCELLOR FOR SELECTION OF VICE-CHANCELLOR TO THE PERIYAR UNIVERSITY, SALEM, UNDER THE PERIYAR UNIVERSITY ACT, 1997.

Under Section 12(1) & (2) of the Periyar University Act, 1997 and as amended in Tamil Nadu Universities Laws (Amendment) Act, 2017, the Search Committee has been constituted with the following composition to recommend a panel of three names to the Hon'ble Governor-Chancellor for appointment of next Vice-Chancellor of Periyar University, Salem :-

| 3. | Dr. M. Bhaskaran, former Vice-Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Open University, Chennai 5/74-D, Gokulam Nagar, Jagir Ammapalayam, Salem 636 302. | Senate Nominee |
Dr. D. Jothi Jagarajan, IAS (Retd), will be the Convener of the above Search Committee.
2. The above Committee shall recommend a panel of three names along with their Bio-data to the Hon'ble Governor-Chancellor of Periyar University as provided under sub-section (1) of Section 12 of the Periyar University Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 45 of 1997).
