In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998 (Tamil Nadu Act 9 of 1999), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby declares his intention to include the local areas specified in column (4) within the limits of Municipal Corporation specified in column (2), to the extent as specified in column (5) of the Table below:—

2. Notice is hereby given that, any person residing within the respective local area concerned in relation to this Notification or any local authority affected by the Notification related to it may submit objections, if any, in writing to the Principal Secretary to Government, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, Secretariat, Fort St.George, Chennai-600 009. Such objections shall be submitted within six weeks from the date of publication of this Notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette and the objections received within the said period will be taken into consideration under clause (c) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the said Act.

Notice is hereby given that, any person residing within the local area concerned in relation to this Notification or any local authority affected by this Notification may submit objections, if any, in writing to the Principal Secretary to Government, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, Secretariat, Fort St.George, Chennai-600 009. Such objections shall be submitted within six weeks from the date of publication of this Notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette and the objections received within the said period will be taken into consideration under clause (c) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the said Act.
