In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies (Second Amendment) Act, 2024 (Tamil Nadu Act 25 of 2024), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the 6th day of January 2025, as the date on which all other sections except sub-section (1) of section 36 of the said Act shall come into force.
