NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

APPOINTMENT OF HON'BLE CHAIRMAN AND NON-JUDICIAL MEMBERS

UNDER THE TAMIL NADU LOKAYUKTA ACT, 2018

No. II(2)/HRM/142(a)/2025.

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Lokayukta Act, 2018 (Tamil Nadu Act 33 of 2018), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the following persons for the Tamil Nadu Lokayukta:-

Chairperson	:	Hon'ble Thiru. Justice P.Rajamanickam Retired Judge of High Court of Madras and Judicial Member/Acting Chairperson of Tamil Nadu Lokayukta
Non-Judicial Member	:	Dr. V.Ramaraj, M.A., M.L., M.Phil., Ph.D., President, District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Behind District Court, Tiruchengode Road, Namakkal-637 003.
Non-Judicial Member	:	Thiru. Arumugha Mohan Alankamony, B.Com., L.L.B., F.C.A., Formerly Member, Income Tax Appellate Tribunal.

2. The Chairperson shall hold office from the date on which he enters upon his office until 17.04.2027, when he completes the total tenure of five years as Judicial Member and Chairperson of Tamil Nadu Lokayukta as per Explanation to Section 7(2) of the Tamil Nadu Lokayukta Act, 2018.

3. The Non-Judicial Members shall hold office for the term of five years, from the date on which they enter upon their office or the date on which they attain the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.
