[G.O.(D).No.40, Home (Courts.VIA), 9th January 2025, மார்கழி 25, குரோதி, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2055.] No. II(2)/HO/89/2025.— In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 15 (1) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (Central Act 33 of 1989) and in supersession of Home Department Notification No.II(2)/HO/243/2018, published at pages 264-265 of PartII—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated March 14, 2018, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints Thiru.S.Mahadevan (Ms. No.182/1994) S/o.Samiappan, Keelpathi, Kudithangicheri (Po), Koothanallur Taluk, Tiruvarur District as Special Public Prosecutor for the purpose of conducting cases under Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989, emanating from Tiruvarur District before the I Additional Sessions Court (PCR), Thanjavur, on temporary basis from the date of taking charge of his appointment, subject to observance of existing terms and conditions of appointment.

AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that the said financial establishment is not likely to return the deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government have to protect the interests of such depositors;

AND WHEREAS, in addition to the movable properties ad-interimly attached in the Government Order first read above, the immovable property specified in the Schedule to this Order are alleged to have been procured by the said financial establishment from and out of the deposits collected from the depositors;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes an ad-interim Order attaching the immovable property of the defaulted financial establishment, namely, Messrs Chendur Fincorp Private Limited, functioned at No.C56, 4th Cross, Sivagami Towers, Thillai Nagar, Tiruchirappalli, as specified in the Schedule to this Order and transfers the control over the said immovable property to the Competent Authority, namely, the Competent Authority and District Revenue Officer, Tiruchirappalli District appointed under the said Act.
