Award of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Fire Service
Medal for Excellence to Fire and Rescue Service
Officer/Personnel on the occasion of the Fire
Service Day on 14th April, 2025.
[G.O.Ms No. 175, Home (SC), 12th April 2025, பங்குனி 29, குரோதி, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. II(2)/HO/442/2025.—The following six Fire and Rescue Service Officer/Personnel have been awarded the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Fire Service Medal for Excellence on the occasion of the Fire Service Day on 14th April, 2025 by the Government of Tamil Nadu and the recipients are eligible for the lumpsum grant at the rates noted against each:-

From the Additional Director General of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Chennai, letter Rc.No.C1/ EOW/14526/2023, dated 20.03.2024 and 21.11.2024.
Order:- No. 46, Home (Police-XIX) dated 19th March 2025.
WHEREAS, complaints have been received from a number of depositors that Messrs Alwin Golden City Limited, Madurai District, a financial establishment, has defaulted the return of deposits made by the depositors after maturity;
AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that the said financial establishment are not likely to return the deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government have to protect the interests of such depositors;
AND WHEREAS, the immovable properties specified in the Schedule to this order are alleged to have been procured by the said financial establishment from and out of the deposits collected from the depositors;
2. The expenditure shall be debited to -
"2070 - 00 - Other Administrative Service - 108 - Fire Protection and Control I - State's Expenditure - AG - Chief Minister's Fire Service Medal for Excellence - 359 Prizes and awards".
(DPC 2070-00-108 AG 35901).
DHEERAJ KUMAR, Additional Chief Secretary to Government. NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes an ad-interim order attaching the immovable properties of the defaulted financial establishment, namely, Messrs Alwin Golden City Limited, functioned at Door No.05, Pasumpon Nagar, Bye-Pass Road, Palanganatham, Madurai, in the name of accused Pappa Rajendran (A2) (Died), S/o Veeraiah, Managing Director, Alwin Golden City Limited as specified in the Schedule to this Order and transfers the control over the said immovable properties to the Competent Authority, namely, the Competent Authority and District Revenue Officer, Madurai District appointed under the said Act. 2. The Competent Authority and District Revenue Officer, Madurai District is requested to pursue further action in accordance with the procedure laid down in sub-sections (3) and (4) of section 4 of the said Act and also the formalities prescribed in the Tamil Nadu Protection of319 May 14, 2025] TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Rules, 1997.
requested to render necessary assistance to the Competent Authority and District Revenue Officer, Madurai District in filing the application before the Special Court constituted under the said Act.
