DEFINING OF CERTAIN AREA IN TIRUCHIRAPPALLI DISTRICT, VEERAMALAI RESERVE FOREST UNDER THE MANOEUVRES, FIELD FIRING AND ARTILLERY PRACTICE ACT, 1938 [G.O. (2D). No. 69, Public (Military), 9th June 2025, வைகாசி 26, விசுவாவசு, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. II(1)/PUM/10(i-1)/2025.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Manoeuvres, Field Firing and Artillery Practice Act, 1938 (Central Act V of 1938), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby defines the area specified in the Schedule below as an area within which the field firing practice may be authorised for two cycles every year for three years from 16.08.2025 to 15.08.2028 under Sub-Section (2) of Section 9 of the Said Act.

Under sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Manoeuvres, Field Firing and Artillery Practice Act, 1938 (Central Act V of 1938), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby gives notice of his intention to issue on or after expiry of two months from the date of publication of this notice in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, a notification under sub-section (2) of the section 9 of the said Act, authorising the carrying out of field firing practice throughout the area specified in the column (1) of the Schedule below during the period specified in column (2) thereof.
