[Tamil Nadu Information Commission – Dr. M. Selvaraj, State Information Commissioner, Tamil Nadu Information Commission – Ceases to hold office on attaining the age of 65 years on 09.06.2025 A.N. – Orders Issued.] The following Government Order is published:-
2019 and as per Rule 12 of the Right to Information (Term of Office, Salaries, Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chief Information Commissioner, Information Commissioners in the Central Information Commission, State Chief Information Commissioner and State Information Commissioners in the State Information Commission) Rules, 2019, the State Chief Information Commissioner and State Information Commissioners, as the case may be, shall hold office for a term of three years from the date on which he enters upon his office or till he attains the age of sixty .five years, from the date on which [G.O. (Rt). No. 132, Human Resources Management (R), 9th June 2025, வைகாசி 26, விசுவாவசு, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2056.]

3. Government direct that Dr. M. Selvaraj, State lnformation Commissioner, Tamil Nadu Information Commission who attains the age of 65 years on 09.06.2025 A.N. cease to hold office as provided in Sub-section (2) of section 16 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 (Central Act 22 of 2005) as amended in the Right to Information (Amendment ) Act, 2019 and as provided in Rule 12 of the Right to Information (Term of Office, Salaries, Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chief Order No. 132, Human Resources Management (R), Information Commissioner, Information Commissioners dated 9th June 2025.
As per the orders issued in the Government Order third read above, Dr. M. Selvaraj, entered upon his office as State Information Commissioner, Tamil Nadu Information Commission on 12.06.2023 F.N.
2. As per Sub-section (2) of section 16 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 (Central Act 22 of 2005) as amended in the Right to Information (Amendment) Act, in the Central Information Commission, State Chief Information Commissioner and State Information Commissioners in the State Information Commission) Rules, 2019.
