[G.O.Ms.No. 298, Home (Prison-V) 19th June 2025, ஆனி 5, விசுவாவசு, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. II(2)/HO/614/2025.—Under clause (1) of section 3 of the Prisons Act, 1894 (Central Act IX of 1894), and in supersession of Home Department Notification No.II(2)/HO/341/2016 published at page 342 of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 25th May, 2016, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby declares the prison buildings along with Women Jail Annex at Perurani Village in Thoothukudi District for the detention of remand. undertrial and convict prisoners belonging to Thoothukudi, Tiruchendur, Srivaikundam, Kovilpatti, Vilathikulam, Ottapidaram and Sattankulam Taluks, to be a prison, namely, District Jail, Thoothukudi at Perurani.
WHEREAS, complaints have been received from a number of depositors that Messrs Quality Traders (Relief Herbals), Erode District, a financial establishment, has defaulted the return of deposits made by the depositors after maturity;
AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that the said financial establishment is not likely to return the deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government have to protect the interests of such depositors;
AND WHEREAS, the immovable property specified in the Schedule to this Order is alleged to have been procured by the said financial establishment from and out of the deposits collected from the depositors;
Notification under the Delhi Special Police
Establishment Act.
[G.O.(2D) No. 177, Home (Citizenship) 23rd June 2025, ஆனி 9, விசுவாவசு, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. II(2)/HO/615/2025.—Under section 6 of thd Delhi Special Police Establishment Act, 1946 NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, hereby, makes an ad-interim order attaching the immovable property of the defaulted financial establishment, namely, Messrs Quality Traders(Relief Herbals), functioned at Door No.24, Santhana Depo, Forest Depo East Street, Vadakkupettai, Sathiyamangalam, Erode District, in the name of accused Duraisamy(A7), S/o.Kodiyan, as specified in the Schedule to this Order and transfers the control over472 TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE [Part II—Sec. 2 the said immovable property to the Competent Authority, namely, the Competent Authority and District Revenue Officer, Erode District appointed under the said Act. 2. The Competent Authority and District Revenue Officer, Erode District is requested to pursue further action in accordance with the procedure laid down in sub-sections (3) and (4) of section 4 of the said Act and also the formalities prescribed in the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Rules, 1997.
3. The Special Public Prosecutor, Special Court for the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 1997, Coimbatore, is requested to render necessary assistance to the Competent Authority and District Revenue Officer, Erode District in filing the application before the Special Court constituted under the said Act.

AND WHEREAS, in addition to the movable properties ad-interimly attached in the Government Order first read above, the immovable properties specified in the Schedule to this Order are alleged to have been procured by the said financial establishment from and out of the deposits collected from the depositors;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, hereby, makes an ad-interim order attaching the immovable properties of the defaulted financial establishment, namely, Messrs Elfin E.Com Private Limited, functioned at No.11, First Street, Old Employment Office, Mannarpuram, Tiruchirappalli, as specified in the Schedule to this Order and transfers the control over the said immovable properties to the Competent Authority, namely, the Competent Authority and District Revenue Officer, Tiruchirappalli District appointed under the said Act.
Order:- No. 64, Home (Police-XIX) dated 23rd April 2025.
WHEREAS, complaints have been received from a number of depositors that Messrs Elfin E.Com Private Limited, Tiruchirappalli District, a financial establishment, has defaulted the return of deposits made by the depositors after maturity;
AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that the said financial establishment is not likely to return the deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government have to protect the interests of such depositors;
2. The Competent Authority and District Revenue Officer, Tiruchirappalli District is requested to pursue further action in accordance with the procedure laid down in sub- sections (3) and (4) of section 4 of the said Act and also the formalities prescribed in the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Rules, 1997.
3. The Government Pleader, Special Court for the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (In Financial Establishments) Act, 1997, Madurai is requested to render necessary assistance to the Competent Authority and District Revenue Officer, Tiruchirappalli District In filing the application before the Special Court constituted under the said Act.

No. II(2)/LWSD/619/2025.— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 87 read with section 91A of the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948 (Central Act XXXIV of 1948), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby exempts the Karur Sarvodaya Sangh, Karur from the operation of the said Act for the period of one year from 21.05.2025 to 20.05.2026.
(1) The above exemption is subject to the following conditions, namely:-
(a) The aforesaid Sangh wherein the employees employed shall maintain a Register showing the names and designations of the exempted employees.
(b)Notwithstanding the exemption, the employees shall continue to receive such benefits under the said Act to which they might have become entitled to on the basis of the contributions paid prior to the date from which exemption granted by this Notification operates.
(c) The contribution for the exempted period, if already paid shall not be refunded.
(3) Any Social Security Officer appointed by the Corporation under sub-section (1) of section 45 of the said Act, or other official authorized in this behalf shall, for the purpose of,-
(i) verifying the particulars contained in any return submitted under sub-section (1) of section 44 of the said Act for the said period; or
(ii) ascertaining whether registers and records were maintained as required by the Employees State Insurance (General) Regulations, 1950 for the said period; or (iii) ascertaining whether the employees continue to be entitled to the benefits provided by the employer in cash and in kind, being benefits in consideration of which exemption is being granted under this Notification; or (iv) ascertaining whether any of the provisions of the said Act had been complied with during the period when such provisions were in force in relation to the said workshops and stores be empowered to,-
(a) require the principal or immediate employer to furnish to him such information as he may consider necessary; or
(b) enter any Sarvodaya Sangh office or other premises occupied by such principal or immediate employer at any reasonable time and require any person found in charge thereof to produce to such Social Security Officer478 TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE [Part II—Sec. 2 or other official and allow him to examine such documents, books and other documents relating to the employment of persons and payment of wages or to furnish to him suth information as he may consider necessary; or
(c) examine the principal or immediate employer, his agent or servant, or any person found in such Sarvodaya Sangh office or other premises, or any person when the said Social Security Officer or other official has reasonable cause to believe to have been an employee; or
(d) make copies of or take extracts from any register, account book or other document maintained in such Sangh office or other premises.
(i) verifying the particulars contained in any return submitted under sub-section (1) of section 44 of the said Act for the said period; or
(ii) ascertaining whether registers and records were maintained as required by the Employees State Insurance (General) Regulations, 1950 for the said period; or (iii) ascertaining whether the employees continue to be entitled to the benefits provided by the employer in cash and in kind, being benefits in consideration of which exemption is being granted under this Notification; or (iv) ascertaining whether any of the provisions of Renewal of exemption granted to the Tamil Nadu the said Act had been complied with during the period Ex-serviceman's Corporation Limited (TEXCO), when such provisions were in force in relation to the said Chennai for the further period of one year workshops and stores be empowered to,-

No. II(2)/LWSD/620/2025.— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 87 read with section 91-A of the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948 (Central Act XXXIV of 1948), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby exempts the Tamil Nadu Ex-servicemen's Corporation Limited (TEXCO), Chennai from the operation of the said Act for the period of one year from 08.07.2025 to 07.07.2026.
(1) The above exemption is subject to the following conditions, namely:-
(a) The aforesaid management wherein the employees are employed shall maintain a Register showing the names and designations of the exempted employees.
(b) Notwithstanding the exemption, the employees shall continue to receive such benefits under the said Act to which they might have become entitled to on the basis of the contributions paid prior to the date from which exemption granted by this Notification operates.
(c) The contribution for the exempted period, if already paid shall not be refunded.

2. மேலும், 1947-ஆம் ஆண்டு தொழிற்தகராறுகள் சட்டத்தின் 10 (2A) பிரிவின்கீழ், இந்த ஆணையைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்ட நாளிலிருந்து மூன்று மாதங்களுக்குள் தீர்ப்பு அளிக்குமாறு சென்னை, தொழிற் தீர்ப்பாயம் கேட்டுக் கொள்ளப்படுகிறது.
திருநெல்வேலி என்ற நிருவாகத்திற்கும் தமிழ்நாடு தரைவழி அரசு போக்குவரத்துக் கழகம் தொழிலாளர்கள் உரிமை இயக்கம், திருநெல்வேலி என்ற தொழிற்சங்கத்திற்குமிடையே தொழிற்தகராறு எழுந்துள்ளது என்று அரசு கருதுவதாலும், இத்தொழிற்தகராறை பின்வரும் எழுவினாவுடன் திருநெல்வேலி தொழிலாளர் நீதிமன்றத்தின் தீர்ப்புக்காக அனுப்புவது அவசியமென்று தமிழ்நாடு ஆளுநர் அவர்கள் கருதுவதாலும், 1947-ஆம் ஆண்டு தொழிற்தகராறுகள் சட்டத்தின் (மத்திய சட்டம் XIV / 1947) 10 (1) (c) பிரிவிலும், 10 (1) (d) பிரிவின் வரம்பு நிபந்தனையிலும் வழங்கியுள்ள அதிகாரங்களைக் கொண்டு தமிழ்நாடு ஆளுநர் அவர்கள், மேற்சொன்ன தொழிற்தகராறு, திருநெல்வேலி, தொழிலாளர் நீதிமன்றத் தீர்விற்கு அனுப்பப்பட வேண்டும் என்று இதனால் ஆணையிடுகிறார்.
