The Government have considered the recommendation of the High Court of Madras to depute Thiru N.Kothandaraj, Senior Civil Judge of Tamil Nadu State Judicial Service, functioning as Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai ordered to be promoted to the cadre of District Judge to the Puducherry Judicial Service for being posted in the Union Territory of Puducherry as III Additional District Judge, Puducherry vice Thiru T.Balamurugan, transferred.
In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to transfer Shri Justice Vivek Kumar Singh, Judge, Madras High Court, to be a Judge of Madhya Pradesh High Court and to direct him to assume charge of his office in the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
