In exercise of the powers delegated by the Government of Tamil Nadu in G.O. Ms. No.419, Housing and Urban Development Department dated 1st June 1984 under Section 91 (1) of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 the Member-Secretary, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority hereby makes the following variation under sub-section (4) of Section 32 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) to the Second Master Plan for Chennai Metropolitan Area 2026, approved in G.O.(Ms) No.190 Housing & Urban Development (UD I) Department dated 02.09.2008, G.O.(Ms) No.191, Housing & Urban Development (UD I) Department dated 02.09.2008 and published as Notification in No.266 Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated the 2nd September 2008.

In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 32 of Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972), Land use zone conversion from Agricultural Use Zone to Residential Use Zone is ordered in G.O.(2D). No.207, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(L. Re-1)] Department, dated: 20.06.2025.
2. In exercise of powers delegated by the Government in G.O.(Ms). No.102, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(L. Re-1)] Department, dated: 18.08.2021, the following variations are made to the approved Master Plan of Salem Local Planning Area approved in the G.O.(Ms). Under the heading "AGRICULTURAL USE" and under the Sub-heading "AG-51", the expressions "S.F.No.312" shall be deleted and the expressions "312(Excluding S.F.Nos.312/1B2, 312/2B1 &312/2B3) shall be substituted.
After the heading "WATER BODIES", the following heading and expression shall be added.

Variations to the Review Approved Kumbakonam Master Plan for Local Planning Area

In execise of the Powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 32 of Tamil Nadu Town Country Planning Act 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following variations to the Review approved Master Plan of Kumbakonam Local Planning area under the said Act and issued in G.O.No:184 Housing and Urban Devt. Department dated 24.5.2005 and published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No:25, Part II Section 2, Page No:290 dated 29.6.2005.
Variation
In the said Master Plan in "LAND USE SCHEDULE" in V.No.104 Dharasuram village under the heading 1. Agriculture use zone and Residential use zone the following entries should be made.
2. Against the entry of Residential Use zone (MR-3) S.F.No: 230/3A2, 230/3B, and shall be added after S.F.204.
3. Against the entry of Agriculture (AGW-3) use zone deleted and the expression 209 to 229, 230 Part, 231, 232 (Except 230/3A2,230/3B) shall be substituted.

No.167/2025.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 11 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Act No. 46 of 2023), the High Court hereby appoints the above said Thirteen (13) I.A.S. Probationers of 2024 batch and One (1) I.A.S of 2020 Batch to be the Special Judicial Magistrates, in the Districts noted against their names, from 04.08.2025 to 12.03.2026. The powers may be withdrawn as and when they complete their training to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrates concerned and confers upon them the ordinary powers conferable under this Code on a Judicial Magistrate to try such cases which were earlier triable and dealt with by an erstwhile Judicial Second Class Magistrate.

No.166/2025.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 11 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Act No.46 of 2023), the High Court hereby appoints the following (i) 3 Deputy Tahsildars in Perambalur District (ii) 5 Deputy Tahsildars in Vellore District and (iii) 1. Tahsildar (Trainee) in Madurai District, as Special Judicial Magistrates, to undergo Magisterial Training for a period of 120 days / 180 days (as the case may be) from the date of assumption of charge and confers upon them the ordinary powers conferable under this Code on a Judicial Magistrate to try such cases which were earlier triable and dealt with by an erstwhile Judicial Second Class Magistrate.
