No. II(1)/AGFW/24/2025.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1987 (Tamil Nadu Act 27 of 1989), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby declares to regulate the marketing of Agricultural Produces mentioned in column(3) of the TABLE below in the notified market areas specified in column(4) of the TABLE below. The intention to make such a declaration having been previously published with Agriculture - Farmers Welfare Department Notification No.II(1)/AGFW/21/2024, No.II(1)/AGFW/23/2024 and No.II(1)/AGFW/25/2024, published at pages 89-90, 94, 96-97 of Part II—Section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated the 11th September 2024 as required by section 3 of the said Act.

1987-ஆம் ஆண்டு தமிழ்நாடு வேளாண்மை விளைபொருள் சந்தை (முறைப்படுத்துதல்) சட்டத்தின் (தமிழ்நாடு சட்டம் 27/1989) 9-ஆம் பிரிவைச் சேர்ந்த 1-ஆம் உட்பிரிவின் (d)-உட்கூறுவில் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ள அதிகாரங்களைக் கொண்டு, தமிழ்நாடு ஆளுநர் அவர்கள். கீழ்க்காணும் அட்டவணையின் நெடும்பத்தி (4)-இல் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள அறிவிக்கையிடப்பட்ட அங்காடிப் பகுதிகளில், கீழ்க்காணும் அட்டவணையின் நெடும்பத்தி (3)-இல் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள வேளாண் விளைப்பொருட்களின் விற்பனையை முறைப்படுத்துவதாக இதனால் அறிவிக்கிறார். அத்தகைய அறிவிப்பை மேற்கொள்வதற்கான நோக்கம், மேற்சொன்ன சட்டத்தின் 3ஆம் பிரிவில் கோரியுள்ளவாறு 11.09.2024 ஆம் நாளிட்ட தமிழ்நாடு அரசிதழின்தமிழ்நாடு அரசிதழின் பாகம் II, பிரிவு 1-இன் 91-92, 95, 97-98 ஆகிய பக்கங்களில் வேளாண்மை - உழவர் நலத் துறையின் அறிவிக்கை எண். II(1/AGFW/21/2024, II(1)/AGFW/23/2024 மற்றும் II(1)/AGFW/25/2024 இல் ஏற்கனவே வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Declaration of Premises of M/s.Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, LPG Bottling Plant, located at Uchapatti
Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District as "Prohibited Place" under the Official Secrets Act,
[G.O.No. SS.II/331-6/2024, Public (SC), 23rd July 2025, ஆடி 7, விசுவாவசு, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2056.] No.Il(1)/PUSC/25/2025.—WHEREAS, the authority of M/s.Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, LPG Bottling Plant, SIDCO Industrial Estate, Kappalur, Madurai District, in its letter, dated 19.12.2019, among other things, has requested to declare the area of 22.50 acres with Survey Nos. 169/2, 170/2, 171/1B1 (Part), 173/1(Part) and 174/1(Part) in SIDCO Industrial Estate, belonging to Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, LPG Bottling Plant, located at Uchapatti Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, wherein the plant is handling gas products - an highly explosive product, as "Prohibited Place", under the Official Secrets Act, 1923 (Central Act XIX of 1923);
AND WHEREAS, based on the reports and recommendations of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thirumangalam, Superintendent of Police and the District Officer, Fire and Rescue Services, Madurai, the Collector, Madural District in the letters ந.க.எண். சி4/627897/2023, dated 01.06.2024, 09.05.2025 and 28.05.2025, has recommended to declare the said premises of M/s. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, LPG Bottling Plant, Uchapatti Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, to an extent of 22.50 acres as "Prohibited Place" under the Official Secrets Act, 1923 (Central Act XIX of 1923);
Sep 3, 2025] TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE 61AND WHEREAS, the Collector, Madurai District has also informed that the total area of the land at 22.50 acres in Survey Nos. 169/2, 170/2, 171/1B1(Part), 173/1(Part) and 174/1(Part) in Uchapatti Village have been purchased by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited from the Tamil Nadu Small Industries Development Corporation Limited (SIDCO) through two sale deeds, dated 07.01.1998;
AND WHEREAS, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Intelligence (Security), Security Branch CID, Chennai in the letter SCA.3.No.1238/2025/C, dated 27.02.2025 has also recommended to declare the M/s.Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, LPG Bottling Plant, as "Prohibited Place" under the Official Secrets Act, 1923 (Central Act XIX of 1923);
AND WHEREAS, the reports / recommendations of the Collector, Madurai District and the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Intelligence (Security), Security Branch CID, Chennai, were examined carefully and the Government have come to a conclusion that it is necessary to declare the premises of M/s. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, LPG Bottling Plant, Uchapatti Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, to an extent of 22.50 acres as specified in the Schedule below, to be "Prohibited Place" under sub-clause (d) of clause (8) of section 2 of the Official Secrets Act, 1923 (Central Act XIX of 1923) on the grounds that the premises are being dealt with for storage of gas products, which is an highly explosive product; that any information with respect thereto, or damage thereto, or the destruction or obstruction thereof, or interference therewith, would be useful to an enemy;
AND WHEREAS, in pursuance of clause (1) of Article 258 of the Constitution of India, the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, have, in its Notification No.S.O.1285, dated the 4th May 1963, published in the Gazette of India, dated the 11th May 1963, entrusted to the Government of Tamil Nadu, the functions of the Central Government in relation to any matter specified in sub-clauses (c) and (d) of clause (8) of section 2 of the Official Secrets Act, 1923 (Central Act XIX of 1923);
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (d) of clause (8) of section 2 of the Official Secrets Act, 1923 (Central Act XIX of 1923), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby declares, with effect on and from the date of publication of this Notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, the premises of M/s. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, LPG Bottling Plant, Uchapatti Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, as specified in the Schedule below, to be a "Prohibited Place" for the purposes of the said Act:-
