Modification to Notification under the Tamil Nadu Land Reforms Act

No. II(1)/REVDM/1/2026:– In exercise of the powers conferred by section 18-C of the Tamil Nadu Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1961 (Tamil Nadu Act 58 of 1961), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following modifications to the Revenue Department's Notification No II (1)/REV/405/74 published at page 2 of the supplement to Part II—Section (1) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No 9(F), dated 6th March, 1974 as subsequently amended.
Modifications
In the said notification, in the Schedule, (1) for the entries in columns (6) to (10) against Sl. No (3) to (11), in column (1), the following entries shall, respectively, be substituted, namely: -
"52 Government Wet 1.69 12.03
53/1B Do. Do. 1.78 10.57
50/1 Do. Do. 0.56 3.99
155/1A Do. Do. 0.35 2.08
155/1B Do. Do. 0.40 1.48";
(2) for the expression "Total 8.40 Ordinary Acres equivalent to 3.36 Standard Acres", the expression "Total 6.06 Ordinary Acres equivalent to 3.362 Standard Acres" shall be substituted.
