In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section 102 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988), a draft modification to the Home Department Notification No. II(1)/HO/7(j-2)/2025, published at pages 5 to 11 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 28th April 2025, was published for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby in Home department Notification No.II(1)/HO/57(g-1)/2025, dated 23.12.2025.
Amendment
In the said Notification in para 2 for the expression "Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Home, Prohibition & Excise Department, Chennai 600 009, to be held at 11.00 A.M. on 23rd January 2026 at the 10th Floor, Namakkal Kavignar Maaligai, Secretariat Chennai – 600 009", the expression "Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Home, Prohibition & Excise Department, Chennai-600 009, to be held at 11.00 A.M, on 23.01.2026 in the Conference Hall, Commissionerate of Transport and Road Safety, Guindy, Chennai – 600 032." shall be substituted.
