WITHDRAWAL FROM THE LAND ACQUISITION UNDER THE TAMIL NADU ACQUISITION OF LAND FOR INDUSTRIAL PURPOSES ACT, 1997.

Under the first proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 10 of 1999), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby withdraws from acquisition of the land/lands specified in the Schedule below in respect of which notice under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the said Act, published vide the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chepauk, Chennai-600 005, Notification No.VI(1)/349 (d-11)/2021 at pages 18 to 24 of Part VI—Section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 6th December, 2021 and the actual possession of land was not taken by, or on behalf of, the Government.
