In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 118 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998 (Tamil Nadu Act 9 of 1999), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby withdraws the land situated within the limits of Kancheepuram town, Kancheepuram City Municipal Corporation, Kancheepuram Taluk, Kancheepuram District with the total extent, as mentioned in the Schedule below, be the same or a little more or less from the control of the Kancheepuram City Municipal Corporation with effect on and from the date of publication of this Notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.

1998 ஆம் ஆண்டு தமிழ்ந ாடு நகர்ப்புர உள்ளாட்சி அமைப்புகள் சட்டத்தின் (தமிழ்ந ாடு சட்டம் 9/1999) பிரிவு 118இன் உட்பிரிவு (2)இன் கீழ் அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள அதிகாரங்களின்படி, தமிழ்நாடு ஆளுநர், தமிழ்நாடு அரசிதழில்தமிழ்நாடு அரசிதழில் இந்த அறிவிப்பு வெளியிடப்படும் தேதியிலிருந்து காஞ்சிபுரம் மாவட்டம், காஞ்சிபுரம் வட்டம், காஞ்சிபுரம் மாநகராட்சி, கா ஞ் சி பு ர ம் நகரத்திற்குட்பட்ட நிலத்தினை பின்வரும் அட்டவணையில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள சற்று கூடுதலாகவோ அல்லது குறைவாகவோ உள்ள மொத்த பரப்பளவு நிலத்தினை காஞ்சிபுரம் மாநகராட்சியின் கட்டுப்பாட்டிலிருந்து விடுவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக இதன்மூலம் அறிவிக்கிறார்.
