No.II(2)/CTR/352/2026.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Central Act II of 1899), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Notification No.II(2)/CTR/1112/2025 published in page 696 of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.40, dated 08.10.2025.
Amendment.
No.II(2)/ECCF/353/2026.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Forest Act, 1882 (Tamil Nadu Act V of 1882), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby declares that it is proposed to constitute the land within the boundaries specified in the Schedule below as a reserved forest and appoints the Special Tahsildar (Forest Settlement) Sivagangai, ex-officio to be the Forest Settlement Officer to exercise the powers under clause (c) of the said section in respect of the said land.

In the letter fifth read above, the Commissioner of Textiles has stated that consequent on the coming into force of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983 and the appointment of Director of Textiles as the Registrar of State of Tamil Nadu in respect of certain Co-operative institutions specified in Government Order fourth read above, the Director of Textiles has requested certain powers of the Registrar under the said act may be conferred on the officers of the Textiles Department.
6. After detailed examination on the request of the Director of Textiles, the Government consider that certain powers of the Registrar under the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983 (Tamil Nadu Act 30 of 1983) and Rules 1988 may be conferred on the officers of the Textiles Department. Accordingly, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983 (Tamil Nadu Act 30 of 1983) and in supersession of all the previous orders on the subject issued under the said Act, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby confers on the officers specified in Column (1) of the table below, the powers of the Registrar under the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983 (Tamil Nadu Act 30 of 1983) and Rules, 1988 specified in the corresponding entries in column (2) thereof.-

4. In the Government Order fourth read above, the Government have been appointed Commissioner of Textiles and Commissioner of Handlooms as Registrar of Co-operative Societies for the State of Tamil Nadu in respect of the Co-operative Societies under their administrative control.

(2D) No.167, Home (Police-VIII), 24th March 2026, பங்குனி 10, விசுவாவசு, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2057.] No.II(2)/HO/358/2026.—Under section 6 of the Delhi Special Police Establishment Act, 1946 (Central Act 25 of 1946), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Home Department Notification No.II(2)/HO/44/2026, Published at page 64 in Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated 11.02.2026.
Amendment.
In the said Notification for the expression "u/s 13 (2) r/w 13 (1) (d) of PC Act 1988 (as amended in 2018)", the expression "under section 13 (2) read with section 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (Central Act 49 of 1988) and under section 13(2) read with section 13(1) (a) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (as amended in 2018)" shall be substituted"
AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that the said financial establishments are not likely to return the deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government have to protect the interests of such depositors;
AND WHEREAS, the immovable properties specified in the Schedule to this order are alleged to have been procured / maintained by the said financial establishments from and out of the deposits collected from the depositors;

WHEREAS, complaints have been received from a number of depositors that Messrs Sri Tejomayananda Finance, Kanniyakumari District, a financial establishment, has defaulted the return of deposits made by the depositors after maturity;
AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that the said financial establishment is not likely to return the deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government have to protect the interests of such depositors;

தலைமைச் செயலகம், சென்னை - 600 009 என்ற முகவரிக்கு அதிகாரங்களின் படி, தமிழ்நாடு ஆளுநர் அவர்கள் மேற்கூறிய
அனுப்ப வேண்டும்.
பழங்கால சின்னத்தினை பாதுகாக்கப்பட்ட நினைவுச் சின்னமாக
அறிவிக்க தாம் கருதுவதாக குறிப்பிட்டு, இதற்கு இரண்டு மாத
கால அவகாசம் அளிக்கிறார்.
