APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS IN THE EXISTING VACANCIES OF
THE STATE HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION UNDER THE PROTECTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS ACT, 1993 [G.O. Ms. No.549, Public (Human Rights), 25th August 2026, ஆவணி 8, பராபவ, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2057.]

In exercise of powers conferred under Section 22 (1) of the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993 (Central Act 10 of 1994) as amended by Central Act 43 of 2006, the Governor of Tamil Nadu is pleased to appoint Dr.Justice R.N.Manjula, Hon'ble Judge, High Court of Madras (Retired) and Tmt.A.Suganthi, I.A.S., (Retired), as Members of the State Human Rights Commission, in the existing vacancies for a period of three years or till they attain the age of seventy years, whichever is earlier with effect from the date of assumption of charge.
