EXEMPTION FOR THE PROJECTS UNDER NH IN THE STATE OF TELANGANA FOR (4 WORKS ) FROM THE APPLICATION OF PROVISIONS OF THE CHAPTER-II AND CHAPTER-III OF THE RFCTLA & RR-ACT, 2013.

In accordance with the provisions contained in Sec 10(A) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 in its application to the State of Telangana, The Government have decided and accordingly hereby in the public interest, exempt the following (4) projects from the application of the provisions of the Chapter-II and Chapter-III i.e. from Social Impact Assessment of the Act (SIA) and issue notification in the official Gazette on Form-A under Voluntary Acquisition and Lump-sum payment towards Rehabilitation and Resettlement under New Land Acquisition Act No. 21 of 2017 (Telangana Amendment Act).

1. Widening to 2-Lane with Paved Shoulders of NH-161B from Design Chainage Km 0/000 (Junction on Design Ch. 68.850 of NH-161) to 45/935 (near Karnataka Border) of Nizampet-Narayankhed-Bidar Road in the State of Telangana.

2. Two/Four laning of the stretch "Madnoor-Bodhan-Nizamabad" Section of NH-161BB and NH-63 in the State of Telangana.

3. Two Lane with Paved Shoulders for the stretch "Nirmal-Jagityal" section of NH-61 in the State of Telangana.

4. Two Lane with Paved Shoulders for the stretch "Jangaon-Duddeda" section of NH-365B in the State of Telangana.

The Engineer-in-Chief (R&B), N.H & CRF, Hyderabad, shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.

EXEMPTION FOR THE PROJECTS WORK "REHABILITATION AND UPGRADATION OF NH-765 FROM KM 23.00 TO KM 108.800 (HYDERABAD - DINDI SECTION) IN THE STATE OF TELANGANA TO TWO LANE WITH PAVED SHOULDERS", UNDER NHDP-IV ON EPC BASIS, FROM THE APPLICATION OF PROVISIONS OF THE CHAPTER-II AND CHAPTER-III OF THE RFCTLA&RR - ACT, 2013.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 10A (e) in Chapter III.A of the RFCTLA&RR (Telangana Amendment) Act, 2016 (Act No.21 of 2017), Government of Telangana hereby, exempt the project work "Rehabilitation and Upgradation of NH-765 from Km 23.00 to Km 108.800 (Hyderabad - Dindi section) in the State of Telangana to two lane with paved shoulders", under NHDP-IV on EPC basis, from the application of the provisions of Chapter II and III of the RFCTLA&RR Act, 2013.

The Engineer-in-Chief (R&B), N.H & CRF, Hyderabad, shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
