THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH.
AMENDMENTS IN SERVICE RULES OF THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT HYDERABAD FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA AND THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH - 2017.
R.O.C.No.4209/2018.–Estt. The following Five amendements to the Service Rules of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh-2017.

| 1. | "The following para is added at the end of Method of Appointment for Category 4 (a) of Division I under Rule 5 : The person appointed in Category-5 of Division-I by way of direct recruitment shall not be eligible for promotion as Assistant Registrar unless he/she completes a minimum service of 10 Years in Category-5 of Division-I." |
| 2. | "The following method of appointment is added at the end of the existing methods (i) & (ii) of Appointment for Category-5 of Division - I under Rule 5 : iii) By Direct recruitment (10% of cadre strength)" |
| 3. | "The following para is added as para 2(a) and the existing para 2 is changed as 2(b) under Rule 7: 2(a) No person shall be eligible for appointment to the Service by direct recruitment in Category 5 of Division I unless he holds a Degree in Arts or Science or Commerce or any other Degree equivalent to such qualification and a Degree in Law of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or from any institution recognized by the University Grants Commission. Preference will be given to those who have Computer skills." |
| 4. | "The following para is added as para (1)(a)(a) after the existing para (1)(a) under Rule 8 : A person appointed in Category-5 of Division-I by way of direct recruitment shall pass the Departmental Tests viz. Accounts Test for Subordinates Officers Part-I and Translation Test within a period of two years from the date of appointment." |
| 5. | "The following Scheme of Examination for Category 5 of Division-I is shown at the top of the Table in Schedule IV : Category-5 of Division-I (Section Officers / Scrutiny Officers / Court Officers / Accounts Officer) A Written examination of Degree Standard including the Subjects of Law Degree. |
