ELECTIONS TO THE MEMBERS OF THE BAR COUNCIL OF TELANGANA
(Under Rule 5(a) of the Election Rules of the Bar Council of Telangana)
R.O.C. No. Ele. 36/2018.- It is hereby notified that the Election to the Members of the Bar Council of Telangana will be held on Friday, the 29th June, 2018, between 10-30 a.m. and 5-00 p.m. The voting shall take place at the premises of the respective Bar Associations where the Courts are located in the State of Telangana or such other places notified by the Election Officer. At the places where there are less than 10 voters, the voters names of those places will be attached to the other nearest Polling Stations and they shall be entitled to vote at those Polling Stations only. The voters practising in High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad and opted to be on the rolls of Bar Council of Telangana and voters practising in Hyderabad and Secunderabad cities shall vote at the following places where their respective names are shown.:
(1) at the Telangana High Court Advocates' Association High Court Premises, Hyderabad;
(2) at the premises of the Bar Association, City Civil Courts, Divan Dewdi, Hyderabad;
(3) at the premises of the Bar Association, City Criminal Courts, Red Hills, Nampally, Hyderabad;
(4) at the premises of the Bar Association, City Civil Courts, Secunderabad;
(5) at the premises of the Bar Association, Ranga Reddy District Court, N.T.R. Nagar, L.B.Nagar, Hyderabad;
(6) at the premises of the Bar Association, Central Administrative Tribunal, HACA Bhavan, Saifabad, Hyderabad;
(7) at the premises of the Bar Association, Malkajgiri, Neredmet, Medchal Dist;
(8) at the premises of the Bar Association, Labour Court, 2nd Floor, Chandravihar Building, M.G.Road, Hyderabad;
(9) at the premises of the Bar Association, Kukatpally, Cyberabad at Miyapur, R.R.Dist. and
(10) at the premises of the Bar Association, Railway Claims Tribunal, Secunderabad.

Date, time and place for filing : From 17-05-2018 to 26-05-2018 between 10-30 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. before Nominations the Secretary, Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh, High Court Premises,
Hyderabad - 500066.
Scrutiny of Nominations : 29-05-2018 by the Learned Advacate - General of the State of Telangana
at his office between 10-30 a.m. and 5-00 p.m.
Last date for withdrawal of : 31-05-2018 till 5-00 p.m. Nominations
Counting of Votes : From 23-07-2018 at the office of Bar Council, High Court premises,
Hyderabad from 10-30 a.m. onwards.
Every nomination form shall be accompanied by a non-refundable fees of Rs.30,000/- and the same shall be proposed by 10 voters and signed by each such voter.
The voters who do not possess the Identity Card shall obtain the same from the Secretary, Bar Council on or before 15 days earlier to the date of Election, so as to exercise their franchise.
