IRRIGATION AND CAD DEPARTMENT

Irrigation & CAD Department, has taken up Kaleshwaram Project for providing irrigation facilities in 13 districts of Telangana. As a part of the Project, the following lifts/pump houses are proposed to be constructed *At Tippapur (V), Illanthakunta (M), Rajanna Sircilla District.
*At Chandlapur (V), Chinnakodur (M), Siddipet District.
*At Thoguta (V&M), Siddipet District.
*At Yacharam Thanda, Gandhari (M), Kamareddy District.
For these pumping stations, power supply is being extended by constructing substations and transmission lines with the voltage levels as shown below:
1. 400 kV Lines.
* Erection of 400 KV QMDC line from 400 KV Ramadugu to proposed 400/11KV Tippapur SS including Communication on the line–50.00 Km.
* Erection of 400 KV TMDC line to Chandlapur SS by making LILO of Both the circuits of 400 KV KTPP– Gajwel Line. (2x41 KM) including Communication on the line–82.00 Km.
* Erection of 400 KV QMDC line from Tippapur Chandlapur – 21.00 Km.
* Erection of 400 KV TMDC line from 400 KV Narsapur SS to proposed 400/11KV Tukkapur SS (70 KM) including Communication on the line–70.00 Km.
* Erection of 400 KV TMDC line from 400 KV Chandlapur SS to proposed 400/11KV Tukkapur SS (30 KM) including Communication on the line–30.00 Km.
2. 400 kV Substations.
* Erection of 400 /11kV Substation at Tippapur, Rajanna Sircilla District (4x120 & 2x20 MVA/25 Km).

* Erection of 220 KV DC line from 220 KV Kamareddy SS to proposed 220/11KV Manchippa Thanda LIS SS – 41.00 Km.
4. 220 kV Substations.
* 220/11KV Substation at Yacharam Thanda, (5x31.5 MVA).
On behalf of Irrigation & CAD Department, these Transmission Lines and Sub-Station works are being executed by TSTRANSCO. In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 164 of the Electricity Act 2003, Central Act No. 36 of 2003, the Government of Telangana hereby confers upon Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited, the Transmission supply licensee in the State of Telangana and Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited and Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited or their authorized representatives to have the power for placing of the electric supply lines or electric plant for the Transmission of electricity or for the purpose of telephonic or telegraphic communications necessary for the proper co-ordination of works, that a telegraphic authority possesses under the provision of the Indian Telegraphic Act 1885 (Central Act 13 of 1885).
Any person interested/aggrieved may make representation to the Chief Engineer, Kaleshwaram Project, 1st floor, Jalasoudha, Errum Manzil, Hyderabad and/or Chief Engineer Projects-I, TSTRANSCO Vidyut Soudha, Khairatabad, Hyderabad–500 082 within two (2) months from the date of publication of this notification.
Representations received after the due date will not be considered and TSTRANSCO will take-up the above works after due date with/without modification as it deems fit after making enquiry, if necessary.
