AMENDMENT TO THE TELANGANA STATE PHARMACY COUNCIL, HYDERABAD - NOMINATION OF MEMBERS UNDER CLAUSES (dd) AND (e) OF SECTION 19 OF THE PHARMACY ACT, 1948 (CENTRAL ACT 8 OF 1948).

Read the following :- G.O.Ms.No. 106, HM & FW (C2) Dept, Dated: 28/06/2017.
In exercise of the powers conferred under clauses (dd) and (e) of Section 19 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (Central Act 8 of 1948) and in partial modification of the orders issued in G.O. read above, the Government of Telangana hereby makes the following amendment to the G.O. read above:-
AMENDMENT
In the said G.O., in para 3, under notification,
1. at Sl. No. 1, for the words "Director General of Drug Control Administration (DCA)" the words "Officer-in-charge of Drug Control Administration" shall be substituted.
2. at Sl. No. 2 for the words "The Senior Analyst of Drug Control Administration" the words "Senior most Government Analyst" shall be substituted.
In para 3, under notification after Sl. No. 2, the following shall be added:-
3. The Director of Medical Education, Telangana, Hyderabad is nominated as third Ex-officio Member.
CONSTITUTION OF TELANGANA STATE PHARMACY COUNCIL, HYDERABAD - NOMINATION OF PRESIDENT UNDER SECTION 23 (1) OF THE PHARMACY ACT, 1948 (CENTRAL ACT 8 OF 1948).

In exercise of the powers conferred under proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (Central Act 8 of 1948), Government hereby nominate the Officer-in-charge of Drug Control Administration (DCA) as President of the Telangana State Pharmacy Council.
He / She shall hold office at the pleasure of the State Government.
