DECLARATION OF GENERAL HOLIDAY ON 17-08-2018 (FRIDAY) AS A MARK OF RESPECT TO FORMER PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA SHRI ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE WHO PASSED AWAY TODAY i.e. ON 16-08-2018 (THURSDAY).

The Government hereby declare that 17-08-2018 (Friday) shall be a General Holiday to all the Government Offices/Schools/Colleges/Institutions in the State, as a mark of respect in view of the State Funeral at New Delhi on 17-08-2018 (Friday) of former Prime Minister of India Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee who passed away today i.e., on 16-08-2018 (Thursday) at New Delhi.
