COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON 02-08-2018 NO CONFIDENCE MOTION AGAINST SRI KONKATI LAXMINARAYAN, HON'BLE MAYOR & SRI SHANKAR SAGANTI, DY. MAYOR OF THE CORPORATION - REMOVAL OF THE MAYOR & DEPUTY MAYOR FROM OFFICE.

Whereas, a motion expressing no confidence against Sri Konkati Laxminarayan, Hon'ble Mayor & Sri Shankar Saganti, Deputy. Mayor of Ramagundam Municipal Corporation was moved under the provisions of the GHMC Act, 1955.

And Whereas, in a meeting for the purpose of considering the above motion was held on 02-08-2018 at 11:30 AM & 12:15PM.

And Whereas, when the said motion was put to vote, it was supported by 37 members out of 52 members and thus motion was passed with requisite majority.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section 6 of Section 91-A of the GHMC Act, 1955; the Government hereby remove Sri Konkati Laxminarayana, Hon'ble Mayor & Sri Shankar Saganti, Deputyy. Mayor of Ramagundam Municipal Corporation from office with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Telangana Gazette.

COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON 02-08-2018-NO CONFIDENCE MOTION AGAINST SMT PASULA SUNITHA RANI, CHAIRPERSON, BELLAMPALLY MUNICIPAL COUNCIL-REMOVAL OF THE CHAIRPERSON FROM OFFICE.

Whereas, a motion expressing no confidence against Smt Pasula Sunitha Rani, Chairperson, Bellampally Municipal Council of Mancherial District was moved under Section 46 of the Telangana Municipalities Act, 1965.

And Whereas, in a meeting for the purpose of considering the above motion was held on 02-08-2018 at 11:00 AM.

And Whereas, when the motion was put to vote, it was supported by 32 ward members out of a total number of 35 members and thus motion was passed with requisite majority.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section 6 of Section 46 of Telangana Municipalities Act, 1965; the Government hereby removes Smt Pasula Sunitha Rani, Chairperson, Bellampally Municipal Council from office with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Telangana Gazette.
