ORDINARY ELECTIONS TO GRAM PANCHAYATS, 2019 – ERRATA.
No.621/TSEC-PR/2019-2.– Whereas, in reference No. 621/TSEC-PR/2019, Dtd: 12-02-2019, the Telangana State Election Commission issued a Notification for conduct of elections to certain offices of Sarpanch and Ward Member of Gram Panchayats which remained unfilled in the ordinary elections due to various reasons including the following offices-.

Sarpanch 2 TELANGANA GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY [Part-VII And Whereas, after issue of Notification, certain the District Panchayat Officers reported to State Election Commission to change vacancies due to erroneous report sent earlier. The details are as follows:
1. The District Panchayat Officer, Komaram Bheem Asifabad has sent a report in ref. Lr.No.57/K2.Pts/2019, Dtd: 12-02-2019 to the State Election Commission informing that, the vacancy in the offices of Ward No.2 of Nagepally GP of Kowthala Mandal, Ward No. 3 of Chedwai GP of Penchikalpet Mandal, Ward No. 6 of Chichupalli GP and Ward No. 6 of Bendera GP of Wankidi Mandal ware erroneously reported to the Commission and requested to change the said vacancy as Ward No.1 of Nagepally GP of Kowthala Mandal, Ward No.5 of Chedwai GP of Penchikalpet Mandal and Ward No. 8 of Chichupalli GP and Ward No. 7 of Bendera GP of Wankidi Mandal in the said Notification.
2. The District Panchayat Officer, Nirmal has sent a report in ref. Lr.No.621/TSEC-PR/2019, Dtd:12-02-2019 to the State Election Commission informing that, the vacancy in the office of Ward No.11 of Wadthala GP of Mudhole Mandal was erroneously reported to the Commission and requested to change the said vacancy as 2nd Ward of Wadthala GP of Mudhole Mandal in the said Notification.
3. The District Panchayat Officer, Mahabubnagar has sent a report in ref. Lr.No.DPO/A1/Misc/0052/2019-A1, Dtd:13-02-2019 to the State Election Commission informing that, the vacancy in the office of Sarpanch, Gurjal GP of Maganoor Mandal was erroneously reported to the Commission and requested to change the Mandal the said vacancy as Krishana Mandal in the said Notification.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 243-K of the Constitution of India and all other powers hereunto enabling, the Telangana State Election Commission, hereby, issues the following Errata to the Notification issued in ref. No.621/TSEC-PR/2019, Dtd:12-02-2019, by the Telangana State Election Commission.
