SECOND TELANGANA LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY - ELECTION OF DEPUTY SPEAKER - DEPUTY SPEAKER TO ADMINISTER OATH OR AFFIRMATION DURING ABSENCE OF SPEAKER.

I.- Under Article 178 of the Constitution of India, the Telangana Legislative Assembly has chosen on the 25th February, 2019 Sri T. Padma Rao, a Member of the Second Telangana Legislative Assembly to be the Deputy Speaker of the Second Telangana Legislative Assembly.
II.- In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 188 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Telangana hereby appoints Sri T. Padma Rao, Deputy Speaker of the Second Telangana Legislative Assembly to be the person before whom a Member of the Second Telangana Legislative Assembly may make and subscribe an Oath or Affirmation in the absence of the Speaker.
