ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA NOTIFICATION REGARDING APPOINTMENT OF ADDITIONAL ASSISTANT RETURNING OFFICERS FOR BYE ELECTIONS TO THE TELANGANA LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL FROM NALGONDA LOCAL AUTHORITIES' CONSTITUENCY.

The following Notification of the Election Commission of India, Nirvachan Sadan, Ashoka Road, New Delhi-110001, Dated 20th May, 2019, Vaisakha 30, 1941 (Saka) is published:-

NOTIFICATION

No. 155/TL-LC/2019 (2) :– In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 ( 43 of 1951), the Election Commission of India hereby appoints, in addition to the officers appointed vide its Notification No. 155/TL-LC/2015 (2) dated 6th June, 2015, the following officers of Government as specified in Column (2) of the TABLE below, as Assistant Returning Officers to assist the Returning Officer of the Council Constituency in the State of Telangana specified in Column (1) of the said TABLE, in the performance of functions of such Returning Officer.

The above Appointment of Assistant Returning Officers is for the purpose of conduct of Bye Elections to the Telangana Legislative Council from Nalgonda Local Authorities' Constituency notified vide the Notification No. 100/TL-LC/3/2019-LAC, dated 7th May, 2019. Their appointment as Assistant Returning Officers shall cease to be in force on completion of the current bye election from the above mentioned Constituency.
